Over the last year, the staff at lush have been so amazing and their kindness has been out of this world. They have been so patient and compassionate when I’ve been in having the worst days! I can’t remember everyone’s names I’m afraid but I wanted to give a shout out to some of the staff personally! Last November a beautiful lady sat and gave me a hand and arm massage and a great big hug! I cannot remember this lovely lady’s name however she made me feel so special. Last month I went in and was served by a fantastic guy with a huge personality which made me smile for the rest of my day, I didn’t catch his name, but he had a mullet and orange glasses and was a huge bundle of energy! That same day I was greeted by the lovely Jenny who listened to me have a moan when I was having a rubbish time at work. I know it’s not your job to be a therapist, but it’s massively appreciated! Yesterday I popped in because… Snow fairy (need I say more) and the staff looked after me so well! I was approached Ikram who demonstrated some products with me and left me smelling absolutely incredible! I did end up walking away with most of the products she showed me, I’m a sucker for a pamper! But again she made me feel very relaxed and thoroughly looked after! Lastly there was another lovely staff member whose name I didn’t catch, however she had a shaved head and a really cool pink/purple plait on the top of her head. We didn’t have a huge interaction, but I loved that she took the time to stop and have a chat with me. Thank you all so much!...

Had a really good experience! All staff were super helpful and friendly. We were first greeted by (sorry in advance if I get names wrong) Vez who asked us what we were looking for and had luckily just had speciality training on shampoo bars. Vez tested a few products on mine and my friends arms. He also got us each a free sample of different body scrubs (rub rub rub and magic crystals) which was super sweet of them (they had mid length blonde hair). Jed was also very helpful and friendly and was recommending lots of good products (dude with wringlets). I'm not sure of her name but the girl with ginger hair was also really nice and supportive of her colleges recommendations. While waiting for the samples we spoke to a girl with cool short red hair, and she was seeing if we needed any assistance and we had a nice chat. I was served by Matt who actually made these reviews stickers which is very impressive and he was very sweet. All in all a great experience, with all the staff eager to assist and help without making you feel pressured into buying products. Would highly recommend this store. Vez and Jed were especially helpful and friendly! (wish they brought back this store in Southend high street!) ☺️

My only wish is that the products were a bit cheaper, but as people are slowly becoming more environmentally conscious when shopping I'm hoping these more eco friendly products and sellers will become more mainstream and they'll be able to lower their costs so I can shop their...

Had such a lovely visit to the store yesterday!

Having not visited lush for a while, I was taking my time checking out the new body sprays and shower products when Kayleigh asked if I needed any help. She kindly recommended her own favourites and I explained my own, where she then recommended some products based on my preferences. She helped me to settle on the sticky dates shower gel and the sleepy spray - which I used last night and are both incredible products.

Whilst checking out the bath bombs, Hannah kindly let me know that the products which I was carrying had mostly matching bath bombs in store. I explained how much I love the sleepy smell and she directed me to multiple bath bombs with similar scents, explaining how to use each one. I chose the ‘deep sleep’ bomb after she explained her own personal experience with the product and its effectiveness - with a helpful tip on how to use the muslin cloth once dry to further benefit from the scent.

Abhyuday (Abhy) was so helpful on the till at the end of my experience, answering all of my questions and further explaining the benefits of my products, which i found very helpful. Upon hearing that I had not yet tried lush hair products, he kindly gave me a free sample of the banana conditioner (which smells incredible!) - I will be back to purchase a full tub soon.
