Lusso — Restaurant in England

Previous experiences with Lusso both at the restaurant and ordering online have been fantastic however tonight we have been really let down. Our order arrived with one of the mains missing, we phoned to ask if it was missed by the driver and instead they admitted that they sent the order knowing the pizza was missed. We offered to come and collect it as it was already paid for but instead they said we need to re-order which means we’ve had to repay the ordering fees and as we our original order was part of a 20% deal off deal (with a minimum spend) on the ordering app, we then had to pay full cost on the pizza the second time, so paid out more than we were refunded. During this time the rest of order had gone cold and we had to eat our meals separately. This was supposed to be a fun treat but instead it has been a stressful experience and not the usual service we receive. We did not even receive an apology for their error when speaking to them and as someone who has worked in a customer facing role, this a basic courtesy to give when you make an error. This is a real shame as we have always highly praised Lusso’s and even opted to support them over the new pizza place that has opened in the market place, due to our precision great experiences. We may re-consider ordering again in the future and only opt out to eat in, which is more limiting for us due to our unpredictable...

A Hidden Gem in Newbury Delivering Exceptional Lunch! Our recent lunch at Lusso in Newbury was an absolute delight, and we're already planning our return. Despite arriving during a busy period, the staff incredibly accommodating and managed to fit us in – a testament to their excellent service from the get-go. Speaking of service, it was genuinely 10/10. Every member of the team was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience even with a bustling atmosphere. And then there's the food. Oh, the food! While I regrettably didn't capture any photos, I can assure you it was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was clearly prepared with care and skill, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented (from what I remember!). Lusso itself is a charming find, tucked away up an alley that adds to its appeal as a hidden gem. It's the kind of place you feel genuinely pleased to have discovered.
