Bruscetta was completely awful , it was rock hard burnt bread with nothing on it such as olive oil or anything !!!!! With a few cherry tomatoes chopped in halvs on top, there was no basil on it , the menu said bruscetta with basil , when asked where the basil was the staff said that they don't put it on as the customers don't want it on , why put it on the menu then ??? I feel like I was robbed of £3:95 for the most awful bread and tomatoes I have ever had in my life , this is a sham of a cafe , pricey and rubbish food my children could...

Always very busy so wasn't expecting the service to be so quick but was 10/10. Usually just go for coffee and a canolli but today decided to try the food.

Me and the Mr got the fried chicken and chips (not attempting the Italian I'll butcher it) and it was amazing. Perfect is a better description! The fries were seasoned amazingly and the chicken was beautifully cooked. Think our weekly coffee is going to have to become weekly lunch! Can't wait to...

Absolutely delightful 'typical Italian' cafe. We had lunch there today and everything was just perfect. The food, the coffee, the ice cream and most importantly the really welcoming people. Also I was able to buy a packet Fregula Tostata - a favourite pasta and hard to source in Newcastle. There is blue badge parking very close by in Woodbine Road or obviously, if parked appropriately, on the double yellow lines in Woodbine Road. We love you...
