This is by far the nicest place I have been in the UK! When the tide is out you can access the beach by the steps (so unfortunately no good for anyone with mobility problems) Once the seas out it leaves lots of little rock pools, some up to your thigh and the water is perfectly clear. Because of the rocks you can get a bit of privacy pretty much all around the edges. Beautiful beach, perfect for all, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the rock pools, jumping the waves and building sandcastles. We will certainly be back!!

Really loved this beach compared to some of the bigger busier beaches near here. Parking is a bit of a pain so you will have to walk a bit to get there but it's definitely worth it. We went in the evening and had the whole beach to ourselves as nobody else was there. Its a good beach also for sea glass hunting! Be aware that it is quite a few steps down to the beach so not suitable for those who can't walk much as they might struggle.

Very clean, tucked away beach by the watersmeet Hotel. Tucked away and great for dogs. Very clean as are the rest of the beaches around here. Good for rock pooling and other activities. Lots of space at low tide and normally very quiet.

Lovely Beach. Only downside is the no dog walking sign which is at the top of the access steps. This has likely been installed by a grumpy parish councilor who once trod on a dog poo (most likely on purpose) and now blames dogs for all the world's problems rather than looking in the mirror. Humans are the cause of littering, not dogs. Hopefully if the people responsible for this are denied a service dog if they should ever need one. However this is not enforceable so just ignore the sign and take your dog onto the lovely beach. Access to it is better from the nearby beach access points as it is less steep anyway. Best...
