There is a reason this place has 5 stars. We booked to eat at the Beach House because of the reviews. Unfortunately could not get an evening sitting as it was completely booked out for Friday and Saturday evening. We opted to dine Saturday afternoon instead. The lady who served us (didn't get her name Unfortunately) greeted us as we walked in, she gave us the option to eat inside or outside, we chose outside as it was a beautiful day. We were given menus and time to decide what we wanted. My partner and I had the crispy beef to start, the portion size was great and it was really nice, the batter on the beef was light. My partners son had cheesy garlic bread which he enjoyed. My partner and I chose the same mains of bass with a tiger prawn on top, it was served with patatas bravas, chorizo and a butternut squash puree, it was delicious and the flavours married well My partners son had a spaghetti bolognese, he really enjoyed this too. Our server was so lovely, very knowledgeable about the menu and asked about allergens due to the ingredients in some of the dishes. We will definitely visit again when we holiday in woolacombe again.

Fred and Dom were absolutely brilliant hosts - I travelled here alone completely on a whim for a surfing break. I met Tom who works in the restaurant and he was lovely and really made me feel welcome. Since arriving i've made lots of new friends and just had the best holiday. The rooms at the beach house are spacious, clean and modern. It was great to be able to hang my wetsuit in the wetroom and relax in the private lounge and terrace outside. My car was safe and nothing was too much trouble. I booked the 4 bed room with the balcony and was a bit worried about sharing but I only had to share on one out of four nights stay and the people who were with me were like-minded and very friendly. Also, the food in the restaurant was amazing and they do tapas which is great after a day's surfing! Woolacombe has a great village vibe and everything feels safe and looked after. It was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back again! I would highly reccomend the Beach House.

Lovely resturant in the heart of the village. Reservations are a must. We enjoyed some fresh seafood here. Mackerel salad, yummy spicy prawns, crab & mascarpone, ravioli, steak plus a kids chicken goujon meal. we paid £100 for 2 starters (which are large portions, so would recommend one to share if you want 3 courses) 3 mains, 2 scoops of ice cream and a couple rounds of drinks. Service was friendly and professional, we would come back again.

Lovely restaurant! Great decor, really nice and helpful chef. Remade the crab especially for me without dairy or coriander. It was delicious. Top quality chips. My daughter loved her bolognese. The food came reasonably quickly. Only negative was some really unpleasant apple juice. They also should be more helpful about reservations. I tried to book directly at the restaurant only to be told that you could only book online and that they were booked solid until after the weekend. This was Thursday. Luckily the waitress was wrong and I was able to book online for Saturday. If I had listened to the waitress I would have missed out,and this might reduce their bookings. They only had 4 person tables. We were 2 people. They should have a few smaller 2 person tables which can be pushed together if necessary, then they could have increased their number of covers...and be more profitable. I thought that the cost was very reasonable. Great meal for approximately £30. Kids meals are £7. The bolognese smelled good and...
