If you want a short walk or long walk St Columb's Park gives you all options. So many different routes you can walk, there is also a cycle path/walk out to the Foyle bridge. You can also relax in the park café surrounded by trees and grass areas. Parking available at the café if you don't want to walk around. There is wide tarmac paths suitable for prams and wheelchairs. A beautiful stream that runs from the top of the park down to the main play park.

Various play parks available for kids to play, sport facilities at the main entrance including sports centre with a pool, gym, International climbing wall, sports hall and café. Tennis courts located near St Columb's Park House.

We live near by so always walk through Ebrington Square, which is a lovely space to walk around or sit and enjoy the views of the town. There is two places you can grab food at or even just teas...

This park was better for dog walkers before the Peace Bridge was built. Back then it had more space to walk with fewer people about. While they where building the Peace Bridge they also cut down lots of trees in the park to make way for new cycle paths which have some steep climbs. There are two very good children's play area with climbing logs, Zip Line etc, There's a Cafe at Saint Coloums House in the middle of the park, which has free unlocked wi-fi. In good weather there's lot more people from the city side who come over sun bathing and some drinking. Some cyclists travel to fast on the cycle paths and it wouldn't be as safe later on in the day as it used to be for women on there own. There plenty of parking with no height restrictions. There is public toilets at a side entrance in the new Foyle...

A gorgeous walk with lots of trees and some squirrels!! The park is very old and has some gorgeous trees. With recent work done to the derry infrastructure, it has a number of paths to walk around and a lot of them join up with ebrington Square and the local pedestrian Bridge called the peace Bridge. The park also contains a sports centre with swimming pool and gym as well as a climbing wall. This is a great place to take your dogs a walk and also children as it has a play park at the bottom end. It also has many outdoor playing fields for football. Finally it is stunning on a gorgeous day, and it backs onto the river foyle, so you can get a nice view of...
