The front of house lady was really nice and welcoming, she was happy to chat to us about the menu, and was a pleasure to talk to. Reasonably priced and tasty food. We had the vegetarian fajita, the vegetarian stir-fry, and salt and chilli chips. Both mains were very nice. Whoever cooked the food was overzealous with the chilli flakes, unfortunately, and there didn't appear to be any mayo to help cool the food down. We were offered vinegar or ketchup. Haha. Service for my drink was slow, but the lunchtime rush was just starting so I think it took the staff a while to realise I'd not had my drink yet. There was a good mixed crowd including couples, families with kids, a group of teenagers, and a bunch of what looked like college friends. Doesn't appear to be exclusive to any particular demographic, very inclusive. Overall, a pleasant experience. I would go back to try the other dishes.

We really only decided to go here for lunch because it started raining on the Peace Bridge while we were crossing and we were looking for shelter, as well as nothing else really looking open in the other area of town that had all the shops and pubs. The restaurant was nice enough inside but felt messy and a little dirty. It was strange in that it felt like a newer building but was already showing wear and tear. The food was very tasty though, and the service was excellent. My husband ordered the Club sandwich with tabacco onion rings (stringed onions) and I got a spicy penne pasta with garlic cheese bread. Both were well seasoned and we left there feeling plenty full. Overall, it would be a good place to stop for lunch (not dinner), but nothing special to recommend.

We have visited here many times over the years and it has become extremely hit and miss with the quality. You can order the same items across multiple visits and one time it will be great, the next, terrible.

On my most recent visit we were only presented with a main dinner menu and not the Earlybird menu, despite it being advertised. When we asked for this menu, we were told that the kitchen was short-staffed, so only the main menu was being offered (which is a very extensive menu, compared to a very minimal early bird menu). It made absolutely no sense to say that because you are short staffed, you're only offering a more extensive menu.. 🤔 total cash grab. If you don't want to do an offer on a busy night, that's grand, as many restaurants don't do offers on Fridays/Saturdays, but don't try to pull the wool over customers eyes with excuses that don't even make sense.

I'd also add that the food was terrible on this visit. I've had chicken goujons from here before and they were a great size and looked to be homemade, this Friday I was given 5 tiny pieces of frozen chicken chunks (not Goujons) that looked like what would be served in a child's meal, for £18. Even worse was that I watched the 'chef' walk through the main door with the bags of frozen food in hand and walk into the kitchen with them. Quality massively...

Booked in here for a christening and only chose this place because we were told it was "fully accessible" as there was a wheelchair user and newborn prams etc to come. Couldn't view it when paying deposit as there was a wedding but was assured it was accessible. Arrived on the day of my daughters christening to a garden of gravel with a paving stone path only wide enough for a child. My mother in laws wheelchair couldn't get beyond the initial pathway and so the staff moved a table - I appreciated this at the time as a quick fix for the minute because I knew even if we'd left which I wanted to I would've lost my money. So we stayed with the table moved, when I emailed the staff I got an apology and told they'll try improve for future, but that doesn't help my mother in law stop feeling discriminated against, embarrassed or ostracised from her own granddaughters day. I've emailed them multiple times and have been ignored, which is why I've now reviewed them as they don't want to do or say anything in regards to the issues I brought to...
