Manzanos Peri Peri — Restaurant in Reading

A friend introduced me to this place and when I tell you that Manzano’s is the best food place in Reading I truly mean it !! Everytime I go the staff is attentive , fast, and food comes quick. I go in with my friend who orders the vegi burger and I personally get the buffalo burger every time. It’s the best burger in Reading so juicy chicken is never dry, drowning in buffalo sauce with a yummy salad which doesn’t involve tomatoes which is a plus for me as I don’t enjoy tomatoes as much. The side of chips are so perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside making for a perfect combination with the burger which is so very juicy and flavourful. They have many sauce options I personally go for hot which has a perfect level of spice for me ! I get Peri chips with my burger and they are so generous with the peri salt which makes me so happy. Lovely atmosphere and spacious dining area , toilets downstairs if you’re concerned. My fav part by far is the great variety of sauce bottles they have which you can take to your table. I take one of every single sauce and I made a flavourful mix for my chips and burger the main base being the garlic sauce . So much flavour variety with the sauces. Lovely dining experience great for family , friend, kids , anyone !! Everyone always has a smile on their face the female waitress is particularly attentive and smiley with a great attitude. I love this place and go whenever I can ❤️! Great job I hope they remain their amazing reputation and quality food...

I do feel disappointed about my last visit on the 27 /05/25. I've recommended this place on so many occasions to Family and friends and work college's/ The owner is a friend a friend and that's how I got to know of it the food is nice but the service has got worse anyway my last visit I went and ordered a tikka burger meal but what I go was not that and when I asked the man who served me he asked the man on the grill and he said yes it is smugly disappointed the people on the next table got a tikka burger to and it looked right it was large and red as it should be my one was half the size it normally is and I've had it for the last few years and know the taste and colour and size instead of correcting the order he chose to lie. There's two lady's in there really nice and two young lads and even a older gent who have always been good . I know myself I would have left the food and gone but my blood sugar was low so i had to eat soon as I had the first bite I told the young man serving me he told no it is. I've bee going this place best part of 5 years Real shame me and my family wont be going back. the chicken in the burger was burnt and half the size it normally is. Mistakes happen but a disregard of what the customer saying is not right . It was in the evening 8.30 pm really upset as the next table had a tikka burger it was clear to see. in the past I've took orders home and they have been short I've not...

Went today after a lot about this place. I'm a cook so I know my food. So did this place deliver? I can safely stay it was worth the 20 mile journey!

The food was fantastic, well prepared bursting with flavour, well priced and the staff very friendly. The sauces were simply divine, the Mango and lime was gorgeous, my favourite was the mild, it had a real zingy hit, perfect as a salad dressing! So I brought a big bottle!

I will definitely be going back here to try out the burgers! Well priced food, nice staff, what's not to like! Well done to Fernando's!

I have noticed some 1 star ratings here, with reference to Nandos, I suspect these people are Nandos people! The food is BETTER than Nandos CHEAPER than Nandos and above all more ETHICAL than Nandos. This place is run by a regular local guy, who sources local ingredients not some Bully cooperation exploiting people and third world countries! Good luck to them. I will definitely...
