Saltmill Park — Attraction in Saltash

Great area for many reasons. Large football area for games and training for people mdwajj ages. It is enclosed by fencing and has astro turf for the pitch. A well used pitch. There is a skate park here out to large but big enough to have lots of fun and practice. It has a small park for your children so play and is enclosed. Also a basket ball net to practice with. This park provides great views to the river Tamar and the two bridges (Tamar bridge and Royal Albert bridge). This park has toilets, also a disable toilet. I have to admit, nearly all the park has disable access. Parking is available. There are Synthetic Turf Pitches - Rubber crumb pile. Skate complex. Bike complex. Walking/running paths. I love it down here for the wildlife. It's a lovely walk beside the river with a couple of bird hides where you can watch the shore birds feeding. Can on up the river to China fleet club you'll get to see lots of different types of bird. China fleet walk (fairy woodland walk) is not wheelchair friendly but salt mill is.
