This has always been a favourite so when having family from abroad and Scotland come to stay it was a no brainer to order from here. Collected the order, was a bit skeptical as for a £115 order we expected it to be packed different rather than a small box. Took it the two minute drive home and wow was that box rammed with every item. What an absolute mess. Extremely disappointing and a bit embarrassing when we have just raved how great they usually are. All squashed on top of each other to the point the dishes were bursting the dishes underneath and the packets containing the nan breads were saturated. Unfortunately we won’t be in a hurry to use them again. The bottom of the box was just a mix of all the different curry’s sloshing around. Didn’t expect a clean up before we had actually eaten.

Excellent tasty restaurant in Saltash, Cornwall that serves Halal meat! The dishes are genuine, indigenous, no holds barred, offering a real spicy flavor the way it's meant to. The staff are highly courteous & helpful, even offer their local knowledge of Cornwall sightseeing to the weary traveler. There is a free car park right in front (well you have to turn right through) which makes this an irresistible dining choice in Saltash & nearby locations. Highly recommended.

Excellent service and food. I would highly recommend the garlic chilli chicken and chicken jalfrezi. They were able to accommodate for a large group of eight adults and several children at short notice. Jameel was a fantastic waiter and we had great discussions with him about touring the area. If we are ever back in the area and want halal food, we'll definitely come back again!

I think perhaps i should start by stating that on the occasion we visited (for takeaway) all persons eating were vegetarian; I appreciate that some places still struggle to provide good veggie fodder if they're used to meat majority dishes. On the plus: Staff were friendly, Prices reasonable, Poppadoms and rice all good. No one felt ill after eating it

On the down side: The curries we had were poor quality. Sadly, neither of the different dishes we were given had any depth of flavour in the sauce or ingredients. Best description would be that it tasted like a bag of mixed frozen veg stirred into a thin gravy and then a chilli thrown in. We would have had a much better quality dinner from a supermarket microwave ready meal. Indeed we've had a few; M&S curries are head and shoulders better than what we had here and 1/2 the price.

Somehow this outlet is managing to get over 4* here, so perhaps it's only the vegetarian curries that are not very good? Or perhaps it was the chef's night off? Unfortunately, next time we'll head over the bridge for one of Plymouths many excellent curry houses, as the 5 mins drive...

Popped in for a cheeky takeaway. As frequent travellers to India we weren't to sure what we would get so here's our opinion. Staff friendly , resturant although the seats are well loved the tables were well dressed for an evening out. Ordered butter chicken, rice, bhajis, spicy goan chicken with pompadoms chutneys and dips. Reasonable price . For me the butter chicken was very nice although an undertone of coconut (not how I've had it before) chicken well cooked rice and ponpadoms nice. ( not sure what the yellow stuff was though!) Hubbies spicy goan chicken was a tad tame for him however tasty and well cooked. bhajis for us were not as they should be a tad greasy and bland but I'm sure on our next visit, and there will be one in the near future for a sit down meal the chef will adjust things for us. See you...
