Visited on 31st August - we've had a nice summer, weather was nice again on this day, the fair was on the park, kids still off school. So I was a bit disappointed to see the water wasn't on for the splash-pad play, things were missing from the park leaving just an ugly frame, one of the apparatus was fenced off in the 2nd park area, the large swing had red and white tape around it, the balancing logs were gone. We visited about a year ago and the park was beautiful. Now it looks as neglected as most other big parks in other towns. The boat hire on the pond was FROM £10 so that was avoided... I don't know if it's part of Dartmouth Park but the little fair that's always there is also looking very tired, everything is filthy, staff all look depressed. The bigger fair which happened to be on the park that day was also a waste of time. Simple games like hook-a-duck were ugly, dirty and uninviting. The inflatable slide seemed under-inflated and wasn't at all slippy so no slidey fun was had. We've visited the little farm a few times in the past and there was nothing to look at so we stopped going. I just don't see where all the millions of pounds in...

BE CAREFUL, ICE CREAM MAN SCAMMER. This ice cream man today charged £8 for two small ice cream. When I paid by contactless I didn't ask nor saw the amount. We left the van and after couple of minutes received a payment notification and noticed that he scammed me. I immediately went back and asked him why charged me £8. He tried to play the role of innocent and acted like he doesn't know anything. Then he said "you had four ice-cream😲" . He tried to deny it and acted like I bought the ice cream 10 years ago😆. I showed him the transaction on my card, then had no other choice and refunded me but still not being sorry or regretful. So be extra careful with scammers like him. Imagine how he would be charging families and small children buying ice-cream with their parents' contactless card😲

In terms of the park Dartmouth Park West Bromwich is one of the best parks for all everyone including single, families, children to do all sorts of outdoors' activities. You can bring your food and drinks and spend all day enjoying your days. Huge open and safe place for kids...

Swampool is a lovely place to visit.which is further on Sandwell farm is a great place to visit and the tea room is nice food can work out pricey with paying an entrance to the farm but it's well worth a visit. The food is good so worth it There are some rare breeds of animals and a nice flower and herb garden. There is gym equipment and you can hire bikes in Dartmouth Park there are two playgronds and a tennis court. Unfortunately the high rope area has had a fire. I think there is still crazy golf ⛳. The fun fair is permantly there and is great for youngish children it's open weekends and school holidays not sure about the week. You can go on the pool in boats. It's a lovely place and gets really busy. There are quite a few events there though out the year. Can be hilly in some parts. Also check out forhe mill farm you can walk to it from swan pool. The eggs you can buy from the shops are lovely and the...

Close to the town centre with disabled parking spaces by the entrance in Lloyd Street (w3w ///notice.stages.topic) Plenty of well maintained tarmac paths make this an ideal spot for a wobbly wander🩼 or a rolling ramble👩🏽‍🦽 There's a gentle downward gradient from this car park so I was mindful it would be uphill most of the way back, the photos are from the furthest I ventured today, half way back and from the car park. (I went left) To the right, just visible through the trees in some shots, is a bandstand and more lawns. It's the beginning of October and the leaves are just starting to change colour, in a few weeks these views will contain gold, red, orange and so much more 🤩

I love Dartmouth park. I've been coming here since I was a youngster..I'm now nearly 40. I used to bring my daughters here and today I bought my grandson along with my grown up daughter, son in law and mother.. There's plenty of areas to explore over here for all ages and dog friendly. There's park areas with gym equipment, trampolines, sand areas which is perfect when it's a sunny day for a pretend beach feel. Places to sit and rest to simply watch the wildlife. A huge pond to walk around. Pretty flowers and trees to see while you have a picnic.. You can have a steady walk over to Sandwell valley from here aswell Go and visit Dartmouth you will not be disappointed 🙂
