Not Good but a money making premise.
Upon arrival, we found an unoccupied table that was dirty, had drinks spilt over and food crumbs in it. Not enough staff about to help when needed. I had to find a role of blue tissue and I cleaned the table myself so we could get settled down.
Hygiene was not upto good standards when we visited on Saturday 30th Dec 2023. (I doubt it's any different on other days). Kids poured drinks on the floor, I (a paying customer) had to find the blue roll of paper and clean up the mess on the floor to avoid accidents as there were no staff visibly about for me to ask for their help.
There were 2 black bags sitting right in front of the entrance to the bouncy area where kids get on to go and bounce and play. In those black bags, I saw used tissues, blue paper and empty cans and bottles in them, clearly used as trash/bin bags which were just lying on the floor, #Trip hazard! That's where I took the used blue paper I had wiped our table with. Only much later spotting a swing bin right at the back towards the counter, near where some customers were sitted.
A few toilet taps broken with no flowing water in the women's toilet. "Non touch" Soap dispenser was empty and 2 dirty hand soap tubs were standing on the sink area for all of us to scramble over and touch.. (as it's a woman writing this, I can't comment about the men's toilet, it's probably worse..... Lol!
3 toilet doors open right Infront of the sinks, that's how closely narrow the toilets are to the sinks . I nearly brushed past woman with her child as I entered one of the toilets as she and her child stood at the sink to wash their hands.
Meanwhile I had already opened and walked past 3 toilets which were filthy & did not have toilet paper in them, that's why I kept opening door after door to "check my self into" a decently clean one with toilet paper in it.
It's a kids play venue, there should be staff regularly checking the bathrooms to maintain their hygiene.
We wanted to order pizza at 5pm and were told they were not cooking any more food for customers as what they had left was for a kids birthday party booking. But they clearly have signs saying only food purchased within the premises should be consumed there. Shocking!
What has gone wrong with our society, very few see bothers about customer care needs, hygiene but want to make as much money as possible running their businesses....
Read moreWent here as part of a work team activity, after looking on the website and watching a video showing lots of separate activities, it was a bitter disappointment to find that West Bromwich doesn't have half of them. The lockers are £2 (non refundable) and that is just for a small locker. No changing rooms, large toilets though, which aren't well sign posted.
After signing in you head up the stairs of this converted bingo hall, and immediately the heat hits you before you've even started bouncing. There was a sign mentioning a safety briefing, but after asking a team member, there was no safety briefing, just a TV with some warnings on it. The heat only gets worse as you enter the bounce zone and start moving around.
As mentioned there isn't a great range of activity areas so you'll find yourself doing the same things often. Overall it was a good hour in the bounce zone. I thought there would be a water fountain or something similar, but if you ask the at the counter upstairs for a tap water they're happy to provide that.
I think as some other reviews have mentioned maybe another week or so to get ready for opening could have helped everything, but then again from being in there it felt like it had been open for months with everyone so relaxed and the poor activity selection and dust in between the cracks of the bouncy floor.
Maybe we'll try a different...
Read moreWent today with my disabled sister & her two kids. Lift was broken apparently it happened the weekend but another worker stated its been broke for months so there was dishonesty there. My sister had to stay downstairs for 1hr which upset her as she was unable to watch her own children play its upsetting enough she can't join in. Very disheartening she cried on the way home. They offered to help her up the stairs assuming she can walk (dont ever assume!). She's paralysed waist down and has no feeling of her bottom half of body!! Manager offered refund & drinks. The ginger man at the desk wasn't interested in the slightest no compassion at all. There should always be a back up entrance for disabled customers. They can't pick and choose and decide when they want to be disabled they deserve to come whenever they want just like everyone else. We won't ever be returning after today also prices have rocketed and it was empty in there. Says it all. Appreciate the refund but doesn't cover the shame & feeling of isolation my...
