Obviously the star attraction is that Robert Burns is buried in the churchyard but the church and the rest of the site deserves a visit in its own right. The church was open with friendly volunteers providing information sheets and answering questions. Free entry but donations appreciated. As a family historian, I have spent hours in graveyards, searching for relatives, and I love Scottish ones as the headstones are on a bigger scale and give such a story about their inhabitants.
