First time visitor and will definitely be back! We had the best day out ever. First of all the booking system is easy to use and prices are very reasonable. The fact you get to stay the entire day if you want is brilliant. Staff were really helpful and I was impressed with the amount of lifeguards surrounding the pool. The day we went the inflatable course was up for people to try. There were lots of floats in the main pool for people to use. The slide is good for anyone brave enough to try it....not us haha. It was so nice just sitting by the pool kept having to remind myself I wasn't abroad! The water was really cosy according to my son who can be fussy if swimming pools are too cold, but not this one. We had some lunch from the on site cafe and it was delicious. I was expecting to pay higher prices because places tend to do this when they know you can't go out and get from elsewhere but I was pleasantly surprised when the prices were really good. Really affordable and enjoyable day out. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a...

Absolutely distraught. I trekked my daughter and 3 of her friends 40 MINUTES IN THE CAR to go to outdoor swimming pool after searching up on the website the opening times. It specifically said. Open now. HOWEVER I WAS MISTAKEN FOR A FOOL. The 4, 14 year old girls were left in tears after walking past to have brought to their attention the water from the pool had quite frankly disappeared. Only to be replaced with dust and a tractor. And may I add. Metal fencing. Do they supervisors know about this?!?!?! If they did, wouldn’t they have put on the website it was closed?! Maybe I’m wrong. But if it says open I expected there to be a running, functioning pool, my daughter and her friends could swim in. My pertrol milage is through the roof now wasting all my milage into Stonehaven to go swimming in a pool that was LYING to me. They should rename it Pinocchio. Have a blessed day. Apart from you Stonehaven out food pool. I am sad and...

So went down to Stonehaven Open Air Pool for the second day on the trot And twice now in the men's changing rooms there has been little girls with there dad's ' Girls no more than three'' And men walking about bollock naked W.T.F Shame on you Stonehaven pool staff Your a disgrace 😠😠😠 Police were called, They clearly have men and womens changing rooms, It says on top of the doors on entering The changing rooms At the mens side MEN ''And on the womans side WOMEN , Just like the toilets Say WOMAN' It deeply deeply worries me that the owner thinks that this is ok For little girls to see naked men as being ok'' And i can assure you ' That's not what the owner said to the police ! The open air pool is fantastic'' Not a bad word to say about the pool And have one star purely based on what My son And I ' witnessed in the men's changing...

Had pre-booked our family swimming so all good. Would have been nice if there was a separate queue for prepaid. The kids had a "whale of a time" and we were there most of the day. The only negative issue I had was the cafe. We stood at the window being totally ignored for 20 mins while customers in the cafe had priority, and only 2 of those were in the queue before me. There was a lengthy line outside at the window waiting for service. In the end I shouted through the window is there a reason we are not being served? Which then got me served. The food wasn't great after all that! So bring your own snacks! The pool was busy and the kids loved the aqua run that was put out for an hour.

Art Deco styled lido type and open air swimming pool. The pool is olympic-size one and has clean sea water heated to 29°C ( 85°F). There is also a small toddlers' paddling pool. Good amount of lifeguards - four lifeguards on the main pool and one for the toddler-splash area. Lots of seating around the pool and a cafe. Off-street parking. Found the pool to be well kept and clean. #letsguide, #scotland, #grampian, #aberdeenshire, #stonehaven, #swimming, #swimmingpool, #nightswimming, #artdeco, #lido, #freeparking, #splashpark, #waterslide, #lifeguards, #paddlingpool
