A delightful recommendation by my Scotland travel group. It's a little dark in an Old World sort of way, and very crowded with goodies, you really feel like you've fallen into a shop of treats.

The ice cream was delicious and I especially enjoyed the coconut, which is not a common option. Even my kids, who claim not to like coconut, were delighted. They had loads of other sweets that I was torn with but ended up opting for shortbread that was much better priced than other spots I've seen.

Location is on a slightly main road but public parking lot is not far if you can't find...

Called this afternoon after seeing great reviews. They are wholly deserved! The staff member who served us was absolutely lovely, and able to tell us about the interesting history of the shop. She recommended her favourite flavour ice cream when I was struggling to choose from the amazing array of flavours (cherry ripple frozen yogurt) which was beyond delicious! We had 2 double cones (raspberry ripple, malteser, cherry ripple and cherry bakewell). They were all lush!! Not cheap, but well worth the money! (£11 for 2 double...

There is a sign on the beach advertising that the shop is open for ice cream and that its 2 minutes walk away. If far more than two minutes, once we eventually find the place they have a sign saying the ice cream is pre order only. They have a range of chocolates that looked like they might have been nice, however the shop keeper was more interested in speaking to the guy before us for 10 minutes, so we just left. It was obvious that they'd seen us through the window but just carried on their chat. Wont ever...
