Rivelin Valley Park Water Playground — Attraction in Sheffield

This lovely park is a perfect place to take you friends and family they have amazing picnic spots by the water also it's a nice place to go for relaxing walks I go there all the time and the good thing about it they have a park for your little so go crazy on and it's a save inviromen. every weekend I'm there to make sure my kids burn off some energy and it works form them and for me I would highly recommend this lovely park to anyone also families with dogs, the dog can be free and themselves running wild thought the trees and the water it's very nice to see everyone came together in enjoying...

Haven't been for a while and not sure I will again. Took the grandkids for the afternoon. Now only got one small paddling pool and the other 3 (was 2 when I went last) are "Suppose to be" water feature areas !! Would be if they worked. There was signs around apologizing for them not working "Today" but people were saying they ant been working all week and before that ? Was litter everywhere (yes thats the public), but to be fair the bins were overflowing onto the paths and walls. My 2 played in top of river, as did a lot off families. The park part seemed ok. Solid concrete floor painted. Not ideal. Can be slippery. Wear grippy swim shoes. (Other places similar have soft coloured rubber floor) open school holidays. Not open on all summer weekends. Mostly is water fountain / feature type Areas. Far end is paddling pool area. Could add some benches too. Parking may be fairly difficult as in hot weather is not enough on road parking space.
