I have been a regular visitor to Sheffield and Tinsley Canal for many many years, either fishing, biking or a nice walk. It is a totally different place from the canal of 30+ years ago when Sheffield was recovering from the demise of the steel industry. It is a hidden gem many simply drive past to Meadowhall. I walk home this way most Sundays starting last October and its only been the last couple of times I have actually been able to see everything around me. Usually it's is in total darkness.
