Unit Sheffield is a popular halal burger joint with two locations in the city. It's took us a while to visit as it's not an obvious choice for me, but we recently visited their Centertainment branch, choosing an independent over their many chains, and were impressed with what they had to offer.

Unit Sheffield was founded in 2017 by two Sheffield locals who were passionate about creating a place where people could enjoy delicious and affordable halal food. The restaurant quickly gained a loyal following thanks to its tasty burgers, wings, and milkshakes.

We visited on a quiet lunch time and were served extremely quickly. Service was very efficient but the young staff lacked confidence a bit.

We both chose the Buff Ting buffalo chicken burgers. The chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The quality of the brioche roll was great, and the salad fresh and crisp. The burgers also came with skinny skin-on fries. If you are a fan of Maccies fries these were similar.

We also tried the lemon and pepper wings. The wings were full of flavor thanks to a delicious marinade, but we were a bit disappointed with the quality of the chicken for the wings. Most of the pieces were small and some were broken, but we couldn't fault the flavour and still really enjoyed them.

Special shout out to their home made BBQ sauce which was made with cherry cola and was sweet sticky and addictive. I loved it on everything!

Overall we enjoyed our meal at Unit Sheffield Centertainment. The service was fast and efficient, and the food was delicious and fresh, and for a fair price too. We would recommend for a fast bite to eat before visiting the cinema.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!

First off, the decor is like a Pinterest board exploded in the best way possible. Picture this: vintage retro signs, Sheffield nostalgia representing the amazing Steel city and booths so cozy you'll consider moving in. I swear, I half-expected Elvis with a Yorkshire accent to stroll in and ask for a burger. The atmosphere is so cool, even the salt shakers are trying to be hip.

Now, let's talk about the service. Exceptional doesn't even cut it. The staff was so friendly that I considered adopting them as my new hype squad. They made me feel like the burger VIP I always knew I was deep down.

And speaking of burgers, they weren't just delicious; they were life-changing. These burgers were so juicy and flavorful that they should come with a "Caution: May cause burger addiction" warning. And don't get me started on the milkshakes; they're so thick that your straw will get a workout, but it's so worth it.

But wait, there's more! The desserts were like a sweet symphony in my mouth. I had a Kinder Cookie Dough that was so good, it should be illegal. I practically had to be rolled out the door afterward.

Now, I've been to more burger joints in the UK than I can count (and that's saying something because I can count pretty high), but "The Unit" takes the crown. It's the kind of place where you'll want to go back again and again until your doctor tells you it's time to switch to salads. So if you want a burger experience that's out of this world, head to "The Unit." It's the only unit you'll ever want to...

Hmmm… Where to start. First off, the atmosphere, due to the lively music and voices of happy others enjoying their amazing food, and the ambience, due to the bright lights, eye catching signs and amazingly designed interior, set your mood to exactly what is preferred to enjoy Unit’s out of this world’s food. This including their, juicy, flavoursome, outstanding beef/chicken burgers, crispy, hot and fresh fries, the delectable mac n cheese with a cheese pull that will stretch over a mile, and many other Unit specials. Not to mention their heavenly sweet treats varying from, the thick, smooth and creamy milkshakes, hot slight crisp on the outside, soft on the inside cookie doughs and the yummy waffles with a range of mouth-watering flavours. Hungry after watching a movie in the cinemas or bowling in the alleys (or whenever😆)? Join Unit’s helpful friendly, obliging staff and the satisfied customers to have a taste of the marvellous food. Lastly, after eating, you are given the chance to sign the vast chalkboard with your name, like I did in the following image, and to place the cool animated stickers all around the restaurant high and low. Definitely the BEST restaurant in Valley Centrertainment(and maybe even the whole of Yorskhire👏🏾). I am a regular customer at Unit 1 and am pleased to see Unit has opened their second restaurant in the most attractive place in sheffield. Overall 10/10 experience would recommend to anyone and...
