What an amazing collection of motorcycle memorabilia and personal items on display by Jim, with his own collection of TT stuff. Some excellent photographs on display, not forgetting the immaculate bikes slightly squeezed into his museum. Casey Stoners early career is here too from his BSB days. Jim's a lovely friendly bloke, who will answer your questions and have a laugh too, which we did. I purchased a great Silloth Motorcycle Museum t-shirt which has already been noted by my mates. I'd definitely recommend visiting here. Thanks Jim, not forgetting your mates too...

I wanted to visit this museum for many years and finally got there . It was well worth the wait , fantastic classic bikes and even more memorabilia from racing. Jim is an interesting guy to chat with who clearly enjoys every aspect of racing and takes the time to chat with everyone who drops in . If you love motorcycles and racing you must go here and chat with Jim. Too many nice bikes to pick a favourite but the Honda 750 four is hard to beat. this is somewhere you can go back to several times and enjoy it like...

A nostalgic visit to Silloth after my initial visit and introduction to Motorbike racing 50 years ago. The race track is long gone but this little museum run by past racer and enthusiast Jim Snaith is brilliant. We spent a lovely hour talking about bikes and racing with Jim who is a lovely friendly and knowledgeable man. A long journey but we'll worth a visit if you like bikes and you are in the Lake District.

I popped in here and was amazed at how much fascinating memorabilia has been packed into this place. So many classic race bikes and superbly restored road bikes on display, along with so many medals and trophies from Jim Snaith (local racing legend). If you like motorbikes and are in the area, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit.
