I recently attended a dog event at Norfolk Showground, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The event was well-organized, with plenty of activities and shows that kept both the dogs and their owners entertained throughout the day.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the event was all about the dogs. There were numerous stalls offering a wide range of dog-related products, from treats to accessories, catering to every canine need. The layout of the event was spacious, allowing dogs to roam freely and safely, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
The variety of shows on offer was a definite highlight. Whether it was agility demonstrations, obedience displays, or fun contests like "best dressed dog," there was something for every dog lover to enjoy. The shows were both entertaining and educational, showcasing the incredible talents of the dogs and their handlers.
Parking and facilities at the Showground were convenient, with plenty of space available. The venue itself was clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant environment for everyone.
Overall, the dog event at Norfolk Showground was a fantastic day out. Whether you're a dog owner or just a dog enthusiast, this event had plenty to offer. I’ll definitely be returning for...

Loved that several of last years stalls where there, especially the lego stand.Great variety of food stalls and handemade crafts. All inside. This year there was an extra inside tent. Some of the same outside stalls from the garden show. You should go see.Lots of pets stalls that cover everything, plants, garden items and star wars troopers hanging around. Lots of great Christmas ornaments, wreaths and general great Xmas items. I think but not 100% that the price had gone up on the entry fee.Sure there was more stalls outside as well last year.If you take dogs it stops you entering the inside building which did have more stalls inside.Lots Quite a few different food vendors but not cheap but great if u want to try something different. We took our own and went back to the car for that. You can re-enter as they stamp your hand on the way in. Is a...
Read moreTotally inaccessible by foot for disabled people. My Fiancée uses a walking stick due to degenerate conditions, and we were hoping to make it today for the Norwich Christmas Craft Fair; shame the venue is completely inaccessible by foot.
No footpaths past Longwater to get to the space, all grassy verge, and required at times to walk on a dual carriageway (Which happens to verge from one of the busiest roads in Norwich). If my Fiancée was in a wheelchair, she’d easily be hit by a car.
Staff also refused to open a side gate to let us in, despite us having tickets, and there was no signage for the pedestrian entrance.
You should not be punished by a public events space just because you are disabled.
If you don’t drive, give up on going to the Norfolk...
