Kino Amusements — Attraction in Tendring

We went into Kino this evening with our 2 sons, one of which is SEN and in a wheelchair and was greeted as soon as we entered by the friendliest arcade workers ive ever came across. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark and Peter (whom I can't believe had only been there a matter of weeks). They were friendly, helpful and very attentive to my whole family. It made what is usually a very hard going experience with our older son a very pleasurable trip. The arcade was nice and clean and not overly busy which is always a bonus. Usually arcade staff are dismissive and put out when you ask for help, but not these 2. I came out feeling like I'd known them for ages. Well done Kino For employing such caring staff. Today me, my mum and my sister went for a walk in Walton. We thought we’d go into Kino arcades for a bit of fun. When we came in, we were welcomed by Mark and Pete (I hope I got their names right) They were both extremely friendly and chatty and made us feel welcome. I don’t normally leave reviews but we had such a nice time in there, chatting and joking with them. When our prizes were stuck on the pushers, they came straight over no problems. Pete I believe has only been there a few weeks? Hard to believe as he was fantastic at his job and so happy to be there, which is nice to see! Why is no one wearing masks? No one cares in this place. Not COVID-19 friendly!

I understand staff don’t have to wear a mask by law. I also understand you can’t force people to wear masks when entering your premises. But... If you look a few hundred yards down the road at the other arcades. Staff there ARE wearing mask. They had large signage as you entered and a masked member of staff standing at the door asking people politely to wear a face covering and asking people to fill in their track and trace system. I felt a lot safer in there and I spent money in there. Do the maths yourself, small measures don’t have to...
