Cwmdonkin Park — Attraction in Uplands

A great Swansea park, steeped in history. Accessible from a few locations around the edge of the park, this beautiful park has paths to follow around the park, great for a walk under the old trees, or to take the dog for a walk. The council have highlighted the history linking the park to Dylan Thomas with various artworks. There's also a great kids play park, with a slide built into the side of the hill! What a great idea! Lovely pond and many flowers in the park, so great place for budding artists and photographers to go for...

Lovely park very well maintained with several areas in it; some good for kids, some good to escape the crowds and just enjoy being out doors. Parking not always so easy but an absolutely lovely park when the weather is good. The visit this time was a pleasant stroll with very few people around (the weather was pretty wild). A gem of a park. Can always find on street parking. Great play area with something for all ages. Zip wire & large slide positioned away from main play ground which works well. Outdoor Cafe serving ice-cream, teas , coffee, snacks etc.( a little pricey). Large green spaces, beautiful borders & tree areas. Picnic areas. Small water area with ducks .
