Myself and my partner visited Rose last Saturday for our date night and we were not dissatisfied... As we entered a lovely lady offered to take my partners wet umbrella and then showed us to a lovely table for 2. We chose our drinks and they were served very quickly followed by a pompadoms and chutney tray appetizer which was very nice. After around 10 minutes we were ready to order and our waiter came and was very friendly with us, I ordered the Spicy Fish Masala with vegetable rice and my partner ordered the Chicken Korma with plain rice and chips to share, for sides we had onion bhajis and garlic naan bread, all if which was absoluetly delightful. Our food was was served very hot and the texture of the dishes was creamy, thick and bursting with flavor. The waiters promptly checked in on us a couple of times, checking how everything was doing and if we were okay for drinks which we ordered some more of. Overall our experience was very comfortable and possitivly enjoyable. Would definately recommend to others :)!

I ordered Lamb Shank( it comes with gravy and Kashmiri rice), Lamb Chops, Paratha. Lamb Shank is ok but too much oil( hugs portion - one full lamb leg will be served). Lamb chops was little hard and taste also ok. I expected Paratha with Maida flour but it is prepared with aata flour. Vegetables balti is also good but you need to be clear with the waiter on which vegetables you need on that.

One of the best Indians on St. Helen's Road (Trip advisor, 2017). Very good service and a large range of dishes. Beer selection could be improved as it only offers the standard Cobra or Kingfisher. Be nice to see a couple of bottles of IPAs available in the future. Highlights were the parathas, well fried, crispy on the outsides and soft in the middle.

We had a decent meal on a Sunday evening. Restaurant was very quiet with only 1 other table occupied. Meal of chicken tikka madras was tasty enough. Partners jalfrezi was a little too hot for her taste, but the dish itself was fine. Wine was expensive with the cheapest red on the list weighing in at a hefty £18.95 for an unremarkable bottle.
