Great adventure playground and splash park, and with the Coffee Shed right next to the playground, we always go for a whippy ice cream and to use the café toilets as a break from playing. The only negative is that the splash area's waterproof floor isn't big enough so the grass often gets really muddy in several places around the splash area and the water gets muddy. It's also often in need of a good sweep and clean. Nevertheless, it's a great splash park and playground.
Bit of advice: The splash area is just a part of the playground - it's not fenced off at all, so if you take kids there always take a towel and change of clothes in case they end up getting wet, even if the weather's cool and you don't expect them to use...

Once saw a communal game of rounders which I though was wonderful. The park is well equipped with big apparatus suitable for ages 3 upwards. Massive rope climbing frame for older kids. Water area in use on hot days. There's free tennis courts and skate park. Crazy golf can be purchased from the cafe which is reasonably priced. The pizzas are especially good.
