We had a great few hours here this afternoon, kids loved the climbing equipment and the splash park, toilet facilities nearby were clean and a coffee shed nearby for refreshments. We parked over the road in an industrial estate, it was only a couple of minutes walk from the park. It was worth the 45 minute journey.

I expect it’s a lovely place in summer with the water play features and grass and trees. In winter the water was switched off, much of the play equipment is missing/awaiting repair and the water feature is a muddy mess. The main feature is an awesome wooden climbing feature with rope ladders.

Great adventure playground and splash park, and with the Coffee Shed right next to the playground, we always go for a whippy ice cream and to use the café toilets as a break from playing. The only negative is that the splash area's waterproof floor isn't big enough so the grass often gets really muddy in several places around the splash area and the water gets muddy. It's also often in need of a good sweep and clean. Nevertheless, it's a great splash park and playground.

Bit of advice: The splash area is just a part of the playground - it's not fenced off at all, so if you take kids there always take a towel and change of clothes in case they end up getting wet, even if the weather's cool and you don't expect them to use...

Great Park. Parking is along the side road. There's a large field so bring a ball, outdoor games. Plenty of space for picnic. Once saw a communal game of rounders which I though was wonderful. The park is well equipped with big apparatus suitable for ages 3 upwards. Massive rope climbing frame for older kids. Water area in use on hot days. There's free tennis courts and skate park. Crazy golf can be purchased from the cafe which is reasonably priced. The pizzas are especially good. Currently under a 700k refurbishment so some parts are cordoned off but still spent 3 hours there. My...

As an oap. I didn't actually use the Leys park and play area, which is no doubt Ideal for the young at heart. 😉. My visit, was purely for the exercise and a very welcome refreshment at the 'Coffee Shed' that is conveniently also on the Leys. 😀 Due to the situation with Covid at the moment all refreshment is 'take away' only. However there is almost a normal menu to choose from, Monday to Sunday and open from 10 am until 3 pm.🤠🌞 Providing the weather is favourable there is plenty of seating all...
