Being from Los Angeles, CA I had no idea what to expect. Turns out that Grove Run is a great little place. It offered my Jindo/Husky mix Johnny enough space to run and explore while being in eyesight the entire time. Though there are Big and Small dog sides, all dogs enter through the same main holding area. I can see that being a big potential hotspot. I took 1 star away for that I can't say much else as there were no dogs at 9:00am EST. But it still deserves 4 stars in my book.

I was very surprised by this lovely little dog park! It's a reasonable size and there were dog bags when I was there. There's also a nice creek nearby and plenty of benches. It was empty when I was there. There is no water but some people have left water bowls and toys. It was a pleasant surprise and a nice ambiance. My dog really enjoyed smelling all the smells.

Great place to bring your pup! They have a small nature trail, a stream and a cute little bridge. I love how they have 2 pens one for big dogs and one for small dogs, perfect so they won't get trampled lol I recommend. Plus even tho it says close at 6 I still go until it gets dark. When the sun sets you see cute little bats come out, but that's all.

This is a nicely sized dog park with friendly people. It has separations for large breeds (30lbs+) and small breeds (30lbs and below). The entrance is a little bit hard to notice, it's a little pull in on the side of the road, but there's a good amount of parking for the size of the park. You walk a small trail back into the actual park where there are plenty of benches for relaxing and watching your dog play with others. There is no water provided, but some owners have left dog bowls behind, so if you bring your own water you can fill them.

It tends to get most active around 6:00PM. I've chatted with other park-goers and the consensus is that's the busiest time. Usually there will be 6-8 dogs in the park around that time, though at that level of activity in this space, the dogs can get a little snippy with each other and can require extra supervision. Regardless, it is a nice time to meet other dog owners in the local area.

As mentioned in other reviews, a big drawback of this particular park is the fact that a large portion of is dirt, which can become muddy when it's rainy or even just too humid and damp outside. The dirt itself is very dusty and can warrant a bath all on its own for dogs with...
