Silvermoon Pizzeria Restaurant — Restaurant in Abington Township

EXCELLENT food! To bad the service and prices aren’t guaranteed!! On my birthday, I ordered 1 personal plain pizza, and 1 tuna hoagie w/Mayo, and lettuce only. Not only was the owner, Pete, beyond EXTREMELY rude to me on the phone, he DOUBLED the total price on me from $15 to $30!!!!! I just realize this apart and going through all of my receipts now that the holiday is over. Yelled at me on the phone because I didn’t have my credit card out of my pocket and ready when he asked for the number, his impatience and rudeness resulted in him missing the first four digits of my credit card in order to yell at me, “come on, come on, I don’t have all night, I want to close soon!“. Seriously?! I don’t know how they do things over in Greece, however, I can assure you it’s not this way, double charging your customers and treating them terribly! Unfortunately, this is not the first time that I have been not only overcharged for my order, but treated this way. It’s a shame, because, the end result will be me ordering less from them. Additionally, my boyfriends grandmother is very good friends with Pete’s wife, we ordered from there all the time… You would think he would know my voice by now! Lastly, when I relayed this unfortunate event to my boyfriends mother, she too, also stated that she was overcharged for two salads total of $30 when it should’ve been a total of $15, but last time she ordered from SilverMoon. You have no reason to complain when you start not only losing customers, however, losing your most important repeat customers along with your business revenue… Shame on you SilverMoon for such improper, unprofessional, unethical, and dishonest...

So I asked for a thin crust plain pizza crispy on the bottom and I will pick it up, I asked do you cook it in a pan he said yes, I said when you take it out of the pan can you put it back in the pizza oven for a few minutes to crisp up the bottom he said sure, so I go pick it up and when I got it home the entire bottom of the box was soaking wet with grease, didn't really understand why the bottom of the box would be wet, I lifted up the end of the pizza to look at the undercarriage and it almost bent in half immediately it was so soft and soggy on the bottom, I called the place back and told them it's not crispy at all how long did you cook it for? he said six seven minutes, then I read some reviews and they say it's not hand tossed it's frozen shells, any frozen pizza I've ever eaten would need to cook at least twice that long,apparently they use frozen crusts as I've read on here, I assumed it was regular hand tossed pizza dough,if soft pizza is your thing I guess this is your place, It's nice inside but I wouldn't...

I love the Owners and the staff of Silvermoon Pizzeria! They are so nice and great cooks!!! The food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS no matter what I order. I have been coming here for YEARS! to eat their food. The restaurant's kitchen, dining area and bathrooms are also always kept clean. Even though I no longer live in Abington, PA because I moved to the City of Philadelphia, I still drive 45 minutes to eat at Silvermoon every chance I can get because it is so worth it. There are many, many Pizza joints in the Philadelphia City that claim to be the "Best" that are only minutes from where I live and I gave most of them a try BUT sad to say, those Philly pizza joints DO NOT EVEN COME CLOSE to the Great Tasting Food that consistently comes out of Silvermoon's kitchen on a Daily basis. Plus, when I go to eat at Silvermoon I totally feel Safe and at Home which even makes me enjoy eating my meals even more so. I truly appreciate all of Silvermoon's hard work and for being there for...
