Heritage Park — Attraction in Absecon

I love this place!!! The walk around is paved and has some inclines and a great ebherepond in the center. You can fish there, they stock it every so often. They have a memorial to 911 with stones that tell you about the attack. There is also a piece of the tower there, it can be quite moving. The park is quite safe since it sits behind the Police station. They also have a playground for the kids. I can't say enough about the place, it's a must do. In the summer they have free concerts in the park where the gazebo is, you can find out who is playing in the current, the paper, or the site. I hope other people will experience the...

Really nice little park. It has a walking path around a pretty lake (about 1/3 mile around). Lots of benches for sitting, and shade. They even stock the lake with trout. There is a playground for the kids. The path is lit for walking after dark. Lots of honeysuckle in season, and fireflies. Lake inhabited by ducks, geese, small herons, and large turtles. Gnats can be a minor nuisance sometimes, but hey...

It’s a nice little park I’ve discovered by accident while playing Pokémon Go. It has a beautiful 9/11 Memorial. Also has a path to walk around the lake.
