AMERICAN STAR INN & SUITES ATLANTIC CITY — Hotel in Galloway Township

Take all of these reviews as a WARNING! The owner obviously scams more often than not when it comes to rooms. I had taken my husband and mother out for a weekend in Atlantic City and we booked this room as a last resort. I booked the room right in the parking lot and walked in to speak to the lady at the front desk. She immediately told me there is a $100 CASH fee. When I told her I did not have the cash on hand and there was no notice of it online, she gave a major attitude and was dismissive. I asked her if I can cancel the room and she told me no I would have to call. Keep in mind this is about 15 minutes after I just booked the room. I tell her no problem and I call the booking site, they tell me they need to call the hotel and ask for the refund, the Same lady who just spoke to me and told me to cancel would have to be handled by the site used is now on the phone with the woman trying to assist me, and she tells them she is REJECTING the cancellation. so she scammed us out of $180 for a room we never stayed in when she couldn't get the $100 cash she wanted out of us. She was extremely rude about the whole process even before mentioning her scam fee. Do not book with them, I have no clue how they're open, maybe from all the money of customers she refused to refund. I even tried to call her after calling the website and she HUNG UP ON ME! Obviously they have no clue how to...

This was the worst place in the world!!!! DONT STAY HERE!!!!! I DONT CARE OF YOUR IN NEED FOR A PLACE TO STAY BECAUSE YOUR DRUNK OR ETC! PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The front desk agent is very fresh..he is nasty and will flirt the hell out of you! He gave me the room next to the office...which was odd because the room key had hearts on it.. The room was big but horrible! The bed was not comfortable.. me and my boyfriend were afraid to sleep in it! it stunk sooooo bad we asked for some air freshener he gave it to us! Took the smell right away! The bathroom look like it was just renovated that was the only decent thing in that room!! The night stand were missing handles and had gum stuck to it! Microwave and refrigerator were dirty!!! My boyfriend to me ask for another room but i didnt want to because the front desk agent made feel uncomfortable! So we just basically partied all night so we wouldnt have to be there for long! Oh yeah and the front desk associate was texting me the next day asking when are we gonna go...

Dont be fool getting in I feel like I'm in some Urban Area after long Worst Customer service and Maintenance its family business here is want i experince booked for 2 nights with 2 guests according to priceline 10 for each guest its should be 40$ he charged me for 75 then he scares me i need to pay for car only one car is allowed he peeps from all the windows to see how many people are staying which is disgustion cameras every where he toes the car if you dont say him clearly Owner is typical Indian he just robes every one i hered scremas out side in early moring he towed some one car by mistake she were shouting at him like anything Please dont hink ists good hotel toilete boul is in yello and blue colour i never seen this before in my life my wife litrally had fight to get clean room they came up with all rooms are like that weekends are more nasty plase do not consider any one staying in this place they wont chance with reviews but no one should suffer like us I can not write review so...
