Giving one star for LISA - HORRIBLE attitude rude and fake for the money.

I walked in for an order of 3 large rice take out. Some kid took my order and gave me my change. Waited almost 10 min for just rice but whatever they had a few tables for sit in dining to serve, fine. Lisa walks out and calls “3 large rice!” And i take it ASSUMING “who can mess up JUST RICE”. I get to the hotel and do my thing bc why would i check AN ORDER OF RICE SMFH. By dinner w the fam i see 2 orders only.

So i call POLITELY ASKING “hi i wanted to ask how much 2 large white rice?” - lisa says $8- so i then tell her “oh okay so i walked in earlier and paid for 3 large white rice i paid $12 and i opened the bag and only got 2.” (Not even yelling etc, i just explained). LISA’s RUDE RESPONSE WITH ATTITUDE “NO YOU DIDNT YOU ONLY PAID FOR Two” … so i got upset and now we’re going back and forth and i keep repeating “how many times i have to say i walked in, no order number, and i gave two $10 bills and got change.” She keeps huffing and laughing and i asked her whats funny bc she insisted i only paid for two. After awhile she changed her tone bc she found the order “oh yes youre right i see 3 orders ! Okay no problem you can come pick it up anytime”

I come in the next day and she tried to walk away. And i ask for lisa and doesn’t respond except “oh ill get your rice” smiling. I wait for my rice and then i tell her “next time an apology wouldve been accepted and dont be rude on the phone”.LISAs response to that was “why what did i do”. I walked out saying “thats exactly what i mean”

IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH YOUR ORDER AND YOU SPEAK TO LISA, she speaks fluent english, i dont excuse her attitude at all, she was disrespectful. Be careful when you...

My family and I visited from New York for the Labor Day weekend. My daughter loves Chinese style fried rice with duck sauce, so I knew I was going to have to find a restaurant that made decent rice, at the least.

I read the reviews on several places and wasn’t confident I’ll be able to find a place I’d be satisfied with. However, this restaurant stood out to me the most because the reviews were consistent. Even the older reviews are positive and I am big on reading reviews especially when I’m traveling.

The first day we went we were greeted and seated by the wait staff who were very pleasant and professional. The restaurant has a very relaxed ambiance and it reminds me of one of those classic style Chinese restaurants you see in the movies. Very classic, oh and the fish tank and pieces of art makes the experience more pleasurable. Fast forward we ordered and as we waited for our food we had some tea, soup, and fried wontons with house special duck sauce which was very tasty (sweet but good!)

The food arrived and just looking at it I knew it was going to be a winner 🥇 Everything was fresh, hot, and portions were just enough. I’m so glad to have found this GEM. I recommended this place to my mother who also was traveling for the holiday weekend, and we came together the next day for brunch. She enjoyed her dish as well. First let me state i would prefer to not leave a bad review, but when I called and told their Manager Lilly that I was not happy with my order, she told me I was wrong and my taste wasn't good. I ordered a lot of food, and nothing was remotely edible. The pan fried dumplings were cold, the boneless spare ribs had a distinct sour taste to them, the lemon chicken looked like it had been fried for about and hour too long and the meat was like leather. Even the wonton soup, which I thought was a easy common dish in Chinese restaurants was terrible. When I opened it , it was as if all the meat fell out of the noodles. Then I tasted a noodle and it was complete mush. Absolute terrible meal, I threw it all out. I think the worst part was the customer service. I just wanted to call to let them know, I wasn't looking for anything free or even my money back. Lilly was very defensive and didn't want to hear it. She hung up on me. Lol. Needless to say I will not be ordering from this establishment again. I would recommend...
