Uptown Cheapskate Acworth — Attraction in Acworth

Went there to sell some clothes. The girl who helped me said it would be an hour wait. (Assuming because there were other people there selling with bags and carts and such). The same girl working there said I had to stay in the store the whole time. Which, I get it cuz they're calling your name.

However, what I didn't expect to wait 2-3 hours for them to call me!! Apparently they did call me at one point but I for the most part was wandering the store so I guess they didn't say it loud enough for me to hear. I only stepped out for 30 minutes in their dressing room to try on clothes, and they KNEW THIS. In the end of it all they took NONE of my clothes for reasons that I didn't know of. So I wasted my time standing and walking around their whole store for nothing... I'm furious... at least the other girl was nice and gave me a 20% off coupon on my account.

Note: don't sell clothes here if you have a bunch of skinny jeans or graphic t-shirts. They're also apparently really selective on clothing item styles.

Also note: I am a very noticeable person. I literally was the only one in the store with bright blue hair and glasses. So I don't understand how neither could see me and let me know they were...

Pros: -Great customer service, every cashier I have had has been so nice and explained everything to me fully. -Selling here was very easy and I felt like I got a fair price for my clothes. -I love that they have a designated spot for workout clothes and they have a great selection. -So many shoes! Cons: -The place is 95% clothes and 5% empty room. If you’re claustrophobic don’t come here. More than one person can’t fit in an aisle. -Since they put so many clothes onto the floor you have to really dig to find stuff. And the organization is just terrible. -They don’t have shopping carts nor do they offer a dressing room while you shop so carrying more than a few items while also pushing thru people and looking through the tight packed clothes and getting your hangers caught on stuff is legitimately a workout. My Apple Watch says so. I guess that could be a pro. -I was excited to go to some big sale they were texting and emailing me about where everything was 75% off. I get there and they tell me the sale items are in a bucket outside. I go squat over a bucket in 85 degree heat and all of the clothes in it look like they came from wal mart...

I’ve come to this location a few times. I always find better items at Kennesaw and Woodstock. I’ve sold here a couple of times before with no problem. I took my items to the store and did what I’ve done with my items every time I’ve sold here before. I washed and dried them the night before and I cleaned up all of the shoes I had. I was informed they would not accept any items because they had an odor and saw a hair on one item. I went back to my car and pulled everything out and smelled everything one by one and had my friend who was with me smell each item as well and we could not find any odor and I was confused because I washed and dried everything before bringing them here. There was even one Calvin Klein dress never worn with the tag on it still that they would not accept. I did find one of my light hairs on a black dress so it did stand out. But seriously? I’ve always thought this location wasn’t as good as the others but have never had this issue before. I will not be coming back to the Acworth location. Woodstock and Kennesaw are much...
