This will be my second time writing my review since I was notified that my review was TAKEN DOWN! I hate to be the person to complain and I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel that I need to rewrite this one because of how bad the service was, and because I am now pissed off that my review was removed! My first and only visit to this salon was unbelievable… my nails turned out to look good, however, the service was not good at all! First of all, I was told that there would be a “20 minute wait” until the next nail technician would be available. I was told that I was next in line on the waitlist, so I told the lady that I would be back in 20 minutes and gave her my name. when I returned 20 minutes later and was seated, I was left to wait for another 20 minutes. The lady who did my nails was very rough and aggressive on my hands. Instead of soaking or drilling my old acrylics to remove them, she simply ripped them off of my fingers. she also cut the underneath of my nail with a sharp drill until it bled, then covered the open cut with NAIL GLUE! Im not sure if I can get an infection from that but I hope not because it has been sore for days. The entire process was painful and I did not want to say anything because the lady already looked like in a bad mood. the lady also made comments such as, “is that good enough for you??” and also made a comment saying that I look like I am 12 years old. I cannot make these things up…. When I went to pay, I said thank you to the lady, even though i shouldnt have…. then she rolls her eyes at me when she sees that i left no tip. what a shocker! I just do not recommend going to this salon for the sake of their service. If I am paying $55-60 to get my nails done at a salon, I expect to feel relaxed and spoken to nicely… not...
Read moreI really hate to be this person leaving a negative review & have held off from doing so for the past several times that I have wanted to because I have been coming here for years & used to receive great, quality service. Unfortunately, that’s not the case anymore.
It is always a hit or miss with both the quality of the service that you receive & the friendliness of the customer service that you are treated with. Some of the staff have been incredibly rude, some have been great. I have gotten to know my favorites & the ones that I want to steer clear from.
I used to call ahead a few days to schedule an appointment with a specific person that I wanted to do my services for me. I stopped doing that because the past 5 times I have requested a specific person, they have only done one or the other (finger or toe nails) with someone else that I did not want doing the other or they ended up being busy with another client whenever I arrived - what’s the point of scheduling an appointment with them then...??? Very disappointing.
The past several times I have been cut & bled or received messy, unprofessional looking treatments & uneven coats of polish. The person doing my toes did not wait until the coat was completely dry before applying the top clear coat, & now the texture of my polish is not smooth, but bubbly. There is also color polish on my skin - they let me walk out of the store this way.
Now that I know that I could even do my toes better than this, or that another salon could do a better job & after having these issues happen time & time again, I’m sad to say that it’s time for me to move on & retire from visiting this salon. I watched a lady next to me ask for assistance with her nails the same as myself (choosing color,style, nail art ) and recieved great customer service. But my technician had a bad attitude once i sat in her chair. So I went here a few weeks ago and had great service, I went back thinking I would get the same treatment and I did not. The nail tech was very rude from the moment I sat in her chair he energy was off, I asked for a acrylic color and they didn't have it so I had to choose another. When I asked for her opinion or expertise she wouldn't assist me at all. When I said I wasn't happy she, raised he voice and became unpleasant. I originally came in with a design but because she was so RUDE I didn't want her to do much of anything, just a fill. The alternate color wasn't pleasing to me ( which is why I asked for her help to choose the RIGHT color) so I asked for a gel color on top yo make them look better, then she said "20 dollars more" as if it was a problem I said "yea no problem because I am not happy with how this looks" ... I had to talk to the manager which didn't make a difference, but left there with plain nails. She did a good job shaping and was quick but my God that attitude. The experience was less than relaxing.
