We come here to play pogo, but I've not been super impressed by the park itself. It's one of the smallest parks I've been to, the bathrooms have not been cleaned, nor the soap refilled, for months. Last time I went there was no TP and there's no telling how long it had been out. I don't even need to bring TP and sanitizer to my favorite nature preserve, so this tiny urban park is failing. The park has had sections of it closed off for over half of the time we've been there, those sections look crummy, dangerous, and it impedes our path. There are several bars around there from which you can hear yelling and fighting at least once a night. The area is lousy with cigarette smoke, and the streets are grimy, which is awful for my allergies. And the water fountain area always smells of too much chlorine, and attracts a lot of mosquitoes in the warm seasons. They have a lot of pokestops, but, not much else. What they do with the money they garner from paid events, such as Octoberfest, is beyond me. Hire a janitorial engineer, for the...

Taste of Addison overall was a good experience. I ended it on a very upsetting note when, on our way out, we discovered a petting zoo. We asked if at some point people had been able to go inside the cages and pet the animals. That is when Becky nastily informed me, "Ma'am, the petting zoo has been closed! It closed at 6!" I felt like I was some annoying child asking for the 6th time that same question. When I told Becky I didn't appreciate her tone we both got quite ugly from there & I was ashamed of how we both acted afterwards. Becky said her truck was stolen that same day but I told her that was no excuse for her nasty she was but my comment fell on deaf ears. I'm reaching out to the company because we were bot the only people that felt she had not set a good example for the employees under her or for the crowd. I will say the lady with short grayish hair that sat beside her seemed...

Wonderful green space and plaza in the heart of Addison. Special events and holidays are excellent here, plus easy access by DART bus and plenty of hotels nearby. Walking distance to bars, shopping and restaurants.

Gets very packed and busy during events, so be prepared and plan ahead to get a parking spot or handle traffic. Usually a large event held every couple months, and people from all over the city flock here for them.

Safe and secure, no beggars or shady people wandering around. Restrooms are clean and open, Addison PD regularly patrols and keeps an eye out for the place so its always peaceful and quiet.

Kids love the fountains when they are turned on in the summer, and dogs love the open space. Jogging trail perfect for walkers and exercise, plenty of park benches to rest on and everything is maintained extremely well. Highly...

***Three exciting activities to enjoy in Dallas this weekend*** Kicking off the weekend in style with my trusty Dingo cowboy boots and one of my favorite Amazon summer dress purchase so far. Exploring my own city has never been more comfortable and chic - pairing them with a summer dress is the perfect way to go. Who says you need to leave town to have an adventure? Give it a try and see where your boots take you! And if you’re looking for some exciting things to do in Dallas this weekend, here are three suggestions: 1. Magic Mike Live: @magicmikelive The Tour at Stonebriar Centre - Perfect for a girls’ day out, this 360-degree show based on the hit movies is sure to impress. Performances run through June 11. 2. Taste Addison - @tasteofaddison A yearly event that your taste buds will love! Head to Addison Circle Park on June 2nd and 3rd for tons of family fun, great food and live music from Swae Lee and 3OH!3. 3. Disney and Pixar’s Elemental Experience Tour at Stonebriar Centre @stonebriarcentre - Get a sneak peek of Pixar’s newest movie ‘Elemental’ and take part in interactive exhibits and activities. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience! Things to do in Dallas, Explore Dallas, Summer activities, Taste Addison, DFW Hot Spots, Dingo Boots, summer dresses Shop the look via @shop.ltk. It is a nice park. Well scaped and laid out. There are paths to walk, plenty of trees, bold squirrels. There is a little canal of sorts and water fountains for kids to play with. Plenty of restaurants and places to eat within walking distance and benches to simply sit and enjoy the area. The grounds slants so toddlers can get a fair work out. The street are cobbled which give the place a fantastic vibe and there is a precinct right there so the area is pretty safe. There is also free wifi available and music playing. The only reason I can't give the park 5 stars is because it appears that local dog owners are quite an obnoxious lot. Despite there being loads of dog poo bags and trash cans available, we came across dog poo in no less than 9 spots and we didn't even cover the whole park. Local residents need to be more appreciative of their blessings

Such a fun park for the kiddos! Let me start out with saying there is no playground, but they have a huge field and a water feature that includes a fountain with steps and shallow "pool" (not a pool) and a large brick space with water jetting out of the ground. I think it starts to jetting out at 10am or so. I wasn't prepared with their swim wear, so they got a wet a they could without compromising the ride home. They have a cute car right next door that's outdoors. They have public restrooms that face the street. The doors that face the park are only open for events. And for those without kids, they have a beautifully shaded and serene area with is own set of fountains to sit and read or just people watch. The park has a small paved path that i would say is about 1-2 miles all the way around. All In all great ambiance and setting.
