UPDATE 7/2/23: First things first, I have visited multiple times and have always been pretty satistifed. BUT, I noticed that the menu has changed dramatically. Apparently they've had an entire makeover and changed some of the rolls, recipes, and eliminated many choices that were previously available. Not an issue, but the Amazon roll that I have ordered before and liked a lot was not at all like before and was very subpar. The only roll we actually enjoyed was the salmon baked roll. We were so disappointed in the first two we ordered that we decided not to take a gamble and try another because we were worried the quality wouldn't be as great. Tempura cheesecake was good but very small for two people. I may have to retract my gold star from this spot. I may or may not give them another chance. Oh. My. Glob.... This is the experience that I have been waiting for. Let me start off by saying that our server Rose was an EFFIN ROCKSTAR! It's not often that I get the chance to see personality shine thru in service and she was phenomenal!! All her recommendations were sooooo good too. We ordered the Frisco Roll, the Amazon Roll, and the Popcorn Shrimp Volcano Roll. The Frisco was def our favorite. We paired it all with a crisp pear sake and finished our meal with a fried fruity pebble ice cream ball of whatever the hell goodness. We also ordered mango mochi ice cream as an appetizer cause why the heck not. We sat on the patio on a humid but crisp night and it was pretty chill. The string lights and vibey house mix they were playing really made it feel laid back. Good spot to chill with friends or bring a date. Quality of the sushi was top notch. They crafted it down to an art with close attention being given to the combination of flavors and presentation. The service alone was enough to make me a customer for life. I'm done with every other sushi place in Dallas. 469 gets the biggest gold star ever. It'll be a permanent fixture in my dining adventures from here on.

If you're looking for incredible sushi, Sushi 469 is a must-visit spot. I recently dined there and was blown away by the quality of the food. In fact, I can confidently say it was the best sushi I've ever had. I started with the crispy rice, which was a fantastic appetizer. The texture was perfect, and the flavor was outstanding. I followed that up with the Frisco roll, which was an explosion of taste in every bite. The combination of ingredients was unique and worked together perfectly. To round out the meal, I ordered the Japanese donuts with green tea ice cream. This dessert was a highlight of the meal. The donuts were light and fluffy, and the green tea ice cream was deliciously creamy and refreshing. Not only was the food at Sushi 469 exceptional, but the service was top-notch as well. The waiter was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout the meal. In addition to the food and service, the speed at which the dishes were served was impressive. Despite the high quality of the food, everything came out quickly and efficiently. Overall, if you're looking for the best sushi around, I highly recommend Sushi 469. The combination of outstanding food, excellent service, and efficient delivery make this spot a must-visit.

We decided to go out on date night last night and ended up at a new quaint little sushi bar. Great location, outside patio heaters, great music playing inside with the NBA Allstar game starting on their big screen TV. The energy was positive and our waiter Francis was friendly, knowledgeable, and very service oriented. We started with a few appetizers of seaweed salad and combo tempura. I had a the very buttery super white clean Tuna sashimi and salmon sushi rolls. They have a very spicy wasabi mixed sauce and it’s much more spicy than regular wasabi but very delicious! All you need is a little on your sushi. Geneen had spicy and regular California rolls which were larger than normal and very tasty! For desert we recommend the Japanese milk donuts glazed with condensed milk w/ a side of vanilla ice cream topped with a cherry. OMG! What an awesome dish! We are The Couch Couple coming to a podcast near you soon! We highly recommend Sushi469 to anyone who is a sushi connoisseur! We will certainly be back for a second dose!

This is probably the worst sushi I've ever had and I get sushi a lot. I'll give them two things, the food got to me quickly and my waitress was quick and attentive. Albeit there were only 3 people in the restaurant so that probably is a gimme.

First of all, the music is about 20% too loud. Especially for lunch when no one is there. We don't need to get crunk on a Tuesday afternoon.

The fish itself seemed okay, the flavor of it was good. The flavor of each individual component was good actually, so they do source their products not terribly. However, I ordered 2 rolls, I shouldn't really be able to tell you that each component was good. The rolls collapsed on the plate, the nori didn't even overlap so that's not a big surprise. The ratio was definitely interesting too. The spicy salmon roll was fine, but the one Philadelphia roll I managed to get in my mouth all at the same time tasted like eating cream cheese out of the tube.

To top it all off, my bowels did not appreciate me going here either and had some words with me at about 3am.

All in all, would not recommend this place to someone who enjoys sushi, would recommend it to a frat boy who wants to think he's going to impress a girl by taking her to a...
