We started going for the Saturday reverse happy Hour and would bring from 12 to 36 folks for dinner. We used the Addison location primarily, but the Carrollton has the same issues: The food is the lowest grade. I don't really know of a Tex Mex place with worse food. The service is just a total mess with servers forgetting to put in some of the orders, getting orders wrong. I can forgive ho long some orders took because we are always a large crowd. The restaurants always bungle the reservations. Sometimes the reservation is lost, sometimes placed on the wrong day, and most often the managers short the reservation. So we have a reservation for 20, and they only set up for 10 or 12. We end up either extremely cramped or having to separate the group to different parts of the restaurant. The latest attempt, we got a low level person in Carrollton when we tried to set the reservation, and they refused to set a reservation at all. Maybe that makes sense if they don't have the organization or desire to have a lot of people in the restaurants? We have permanently removed this restaurant from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been coming to El Rincon since I moved to the Addison area. From day one, the staff welcomed me and made me feel as if I made an excellent choice. Not only is the staff friendly, but the atmosphere is inviting and a great way to end a busy work day. From the moment I walk through the door, Iām greeted by welcoming staff like Mayra and Jasmine. When I sit at the bar, I receive top-notch service from Alma and Jom. Iām never overlooked or ignored, and itās service like this that keeps me coming back for more. I must say I never have to ask for anything twice, whether it be drinks or chips and salsa. I am not surprised that I receive great service, because the restaurant is managed by people who not only care about customers, but who just love what they do. I can't forget them!!!! To the amazing owner, Susan, and the awesome manager, Harry, thanks for leading by example and always making me feel welcome! From friendly service to great food to an excellent happy hour spot, El Rincon is definitely the place to go!!! So if you are looking for great Mexican cuisine with flair, El Rincon is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe live in the neighborhood and go there usually every week for dinner. Food was delicious as always. We sat on the patio, trying to have a nice evening and enjoy the weather but there was a very loud and annoying music that was on and on and on...at the point that we couldn't have a relaxing conversation. Even the couple on the next table were annoyed as well.... We complained to the manager, who laughed at us saying the the waitress (our waitress) was the one who had picked the playlist...We then kindly asked her if she could change it but she also couldn't care less. Very disappointing seeing that that customer's opinion worth so little. As I always say: - When I go dine outside, I don't go only for the food...I always expect to have a good and pleasant experience. Not sure if we will go back...lots of good places with good food and...
