Avalon Church — Attraction in Alafaya

I just feel compelled to leave a review for Lisa Hernandez. After doing some research, I learned she is the Children’s Pastor ...the true definition of a Godly woman. I recently moved to Orlando as a single mom and I'm in frantic mode trying to find a school for my daughter. I assumed the church provided the grade level I needed. I was initially greeted by someone who was working and out of nowhere, Lisa appeared with the warmest greeting and the most beautiful smile. She invited me in and even after explaining that they didn’t offer the grade level I was looking for, she still took the time to speak with me. She will never understand how much I appreciated that. From mom to mom her kindness and warmth brought me such comfort, it confirmed in my heart that my daughter and I will be okay. I’m still thinking about her kindness. We hope to visit again soon. Thank you, Lisa! May God forever bless your family and you.

we feel so very welcome here and the people and staff are genuine. Pastor Jim has been a huge blessing to my husband and myself and I cannot thank him enough as he teaches us more . This church is not stuffy, they will not make you feel like you have to give money; which I know some people cringe at. They are so kind, they will include you in everything and Pastor Don gives his message and it is great and funny. I really do feel at home. They do not judge at all and are very open about their own struggles -which I love! Try them once. If you don't like it you only used 1 hour...
