My fiancรฉe and I purchased a custom engagement ring and a lifetime care plan from Avalon Park Jewelers in January 2024. The ring was delivered in May, about a month later than the ringโs ready date. From November 2024 to June 2025, three diamonds fell out of the halo setting, despite very light and careful wear (only a few times per week). Each time, we returned the ring for repair. We submitted a BBB complaint and in their response the repair work they had done was described as being done at โno charge,โ although we had purchased a lifetime warranty that we understood should have covered these issues.
During our visits, the ownerโs responses often left us feeling blamed rather than supported. We were told for the first time not to wear the ring while sleeping or showering, asked โWhat did you do?โ about a slightly warped band, and shown scratches under a microscope that werenโt visible to the naked eye. When my fiancรฉe calmly asked about a long-term fix or possible replacement, she was told to โbe respectful.โ These interactions felt dismissive and unprofessional for such an important purchase.
Because we were concerned, we took the ring to an independent jeweler. Their repair notes mentioned a chipped replacement diamond, prongs with visible gaps, and concerns that the 2mm rose gold band was too narrow to securely hold the 2mm halo diamonds (they recommended at least 2.4mm). They also noted that the design prevented a wedding band from sitting flush. We were never advised during the purchase that rose gold is a softer metal prone to warping, which would have been important information in deciding on the ringโs design.
Communication was also a challenge. The ring was promised for April but came late in May, and we had to reach out for every update. When we filed a BBB complaint, the response did not address the independent jewelerโs findings or our warranty concerns. Instead, it included personal remarks about my fiancรฉeโs demeanor, which we felt were unprofessional and irrelevant. The business stated that no refund, store credit, or further service would be provided.
In our opinion, the combination of repeated stone loss, warranty concerns, communication problems, and the way we were treated makes it very difficult to recommend Avalon...

I made the mistake of going here before reading any reviews and I immediately regretted leaving my engagement and wedding rings with Tiffany after seeing the reviews on yelp. I hoped everything would be fine and those reviews were just from a few unlucky people, but when I went to pick up the rings there were several issues. On the right side of the engagement ring, the band was higher up towards the diamond than the left side of the ring and the band on the right was larger in width than the left side. The wedding band was dented in and not well constructed. I brought up these issues to Tiffany and her response was "the ring is 150 years old, what do you expect" and considering her business runs on ring repairs this was a ridiculously rude comment and when I told her the ring was not 150 years old she ROLLED HER EYES. I was shocked by the way she was speaking to me so I looked around the room to see if anyone else had a reaction and she said "stop looking around the room, no one else can help you". After this I just stopped speaking to her completely and went to the women at the front desk to explain the issues further. Tiffany came behind her and was trying to speak to me and when she realized I was not responding to her she says "Now she is completely zoned out". This women is truly the most rude person I have ever met. I left the ring with them to repair AGAIN since I already paid and did not have much choice and a few days later she called and told me the ring was fixed. The ring is definitely not perfect which considering the price I paid it should have been, but I am just glad she didn't pretend to lose it which was a review someone else left and they had to get an attorney involved! Also, when I went to pick up the ring she was with a guest that was picking up a necklace and she told the guest that she accidently threw away the necklace!!!!! Please go anywhere...

The thought of finding the perfect ring felt like a very daunting task. I had an idea of what my fiancรฉe might like but I didnโt know how to express it very effectively and I definitely did not have the vision to turn those ideas into a reality. I did a lot of research online and I kept coming across Avalon Park Jewelers. I liked what I saw so I visited the store to see how I felt. Tiffany immediately made me feel comfortable and began asking all of the right questions. She asked to see pictures of my fiancรฉe to help get a feel for her style and tastes. She was able to put my jumbled ideas into place and within an hour or so, she had designed the most beautiful custom ring, all while keeping my budget in mind. She was able to craft the ring within my timeline and then even met me late in the evening on a covert operation to deliver the ring without anyone knowing. My fiancรฉe absolutely loves her ring! I could not be happier with my experience and we will certainly be back to purchase our wedding bands. Thank you Tiffany! Avalon Park Jewelers will definitely be our go-to for all future...
