Nails spa Avalon — Local services in Alafaya

I have been going to this shop for the last 2 1/2 years. I really liked them up until recently. A couple of months ago after getting my nails done they started breaking and popping off. I went to another shop for two months and that did not occur.

Two weeks ago from this past Wednesday I received a a pedicure and a gel fill on my nails. At a week a half I had to come back to the shop because my right thumb nail broke. Two days later my index finger on my right hand broke. I went back to shop to get it fixed as a presentation next week and wait 90 minutes to have ONE nail repaired!! The shop was packed for whatever reason on a Wednesday but I was only there to get one nail fixed.

There was no apologies for the wait. The owner Lily was sitting right next to the lady repairing my nail and I expressed my frustration in having to come back within two weeks to get two nails replaced after spending $63 in her shop exactly two weeks ago. It was if she did not care and provided no apologies. Clearly she has a enough customers not to care that I was a dissatisfied customer.

Avalon Nail Spa did a good job on my nails and the people are nice but the service here is awful, I’ve been here multiple times due to convenient location, I’ve even made appointments but somehow a “15 minute service” or a “45 minute service” always ends up being an hour or more. Yes, they always managed to get you in but they almost always double book and have you sitting to the side with your nails half complete waiting for the next step (I’ve waited almost an hour to the side waiting for someone to paint my manicure with my nails already prepped) or they have you waiting in the waiting area after you made an appointment in advance. They act like they have consideration for your time even if you let them know in advance and they agree to it but almost always they do not care.
