Get ready for this rollercoaster: Deal with “Jordan” (Tareq) at your own risk and if you have to, record all your conversations. Dont trust a word out of his mouth. He sold my buddy a piece of junk which had a bad alternator and blew the engine within 100 miles of driving in 3 days. Then proceeded to tell my buddy that I was wrong and there was nothing wrong with it. We dragged it to jeep and had them check it and sure enough, it needs a new engine and alternator. We told him this and he said we probably took it to Jim Creek (we didn’t. I do quite a bit of offroading so we’re not nearly that dumb. Try again buddy). Told us he would let my buddy trade into a different vehicle (brought over WAY more expensive vehicles to show) but refused to give anywhere close to full refund for the other one. THEN told us he would sell him a tacoma that needed to be painted that week for 11k and we agreed that would work. We waited for 3 weeks only to be told that he had sold it for 16k to someone else. Then said the other person didnt bring all the money so my buddy was next in line. A few weeks later, I found the truck online under a different name for 15k. He then said we tried to lowball him (he was the one that offered that number, not us) and maintains that it is our fault that the engine is bad and he did nothing wrong. We purchased a 2021 Toyota RAV4 from Tareq. He told us the vehicle had not been in any accidents. A week later, we took it into the dealership and were told that the vehicle had extensive front end repairs due to an accident. I messaged Tareq asking him to take the car back, since we felt we were deceived. He did not respond, and after reaching out again, I found that he had blocked my phone number. Obviously this is extremely worrisome and unprofessional behavior from someone who claims to run a business. I am currently in the process of filing a motor vehicle complaint with the consumer protection agency, and was told that Tareq has had many, many claims filed against him. I looked for quite a while to find a descent vehicle at a fair price. I found one here and they were completely up front and honest. They even hooked a scanner to the vehicle. They also pointed out potential issues that the make and model might have based on their technicians research which is never heard of in this industry. It’s a family run business and a bit unconventional but I have a Masters in Business Administration and seeing this business model told me this is how they keep their prices low and have room to negotiate.
