Beautiful park. Lots of open space, playground for kids, and lots of trees. There's also a pollinator garden you can stroll through. The bike path on the south side runs from Juan Tabo along the park down to Morris. Walking path surrounds the whole park. Great place to walk your dogs (on leash, of course). Each lap around the park is ~1/2 a mile. You can walk up the hill on the east side of the park and watch the sunset & see the city lights. Also gives a great view of the Sandias from the top of the hill. If you play Pokémon Go, there's 3 Gyms & 10-12 Pokestops at this park.

Nice park with trails up the foothills and along the diversion channel, bring a warm jacket for the wind. Two playgrounds and covered seating near by to watch the kids. Huge grass area with trees on north and south sides, gorgeous mountain view and a native plant garden to check out. Great starting point for a bike ride in the foothills.

Heey what a park! Thought it was a dud when we pulled up then we kept driving and found the grass and playground! Tire swing too!

Pretty busy park!! Good organized youth soccer games every saturday coming this fall. An ample size park for the area, a vigorous population from surrounding neighborhoods utilize the paths and exerecise amenities, with their pets, and still plenty of room. Residents of nearby relayed that the park is a welcome "buffer" between the apartment communities of montgomery/ Morris -Morris/Spain, and The CNM CAMPUS that stretches along its south side. This Park occupies a dramatic low point of a naturally formed topographic depression. The natural route of runnoff of the converging.glennwood hills area to the southeast. and the once substantial elena gallegos wilderness area runoff to the north-north east. Because of this.sits a concrete monolith, meant to spare the inundation of.anyone or anything below. I am willing to bet thats Not likely to happen anytime Soon. But it makes for an interesting backdrop it shares with a good view of the sandia mountains. I will...

I was trying to locate this park because, I was given information by the Albuquerque New Mexico City information number 311. I had informed the lady I was looking for a park that had a gigantic play structure on it for the children to play on. After driving around for a very long time trying to find the park that I was told of we never did find the one with the gigantic play structure. I think the lady gave me the wrong address. After driving around with four children in an SUV we decided to go to a different park instead. If this is indeed the park that has the gigantic play structure on it for children to play on I do hope that we are more successful in finding...
