Pretty busy park!! Good organized youth soccer games every saturday coming this fall. An ample size park for the area, a vigorous population from surrounding neighborhoods utilize the paths and exerecise amenities, with their pets, and still plenty of room. Residents of nearby relayed that the park is a welcome "buffer" between the apartment communities of montgomery/ Morris -Morris/Spain, and The CNM CAMPUS that stretches along its south side. This Park occupies a dramatic low point of a naturally formed topographic depression. The natural route of runnoff of the converging.glennwood hills area to the southeast. and the once substantial elena gallegos wilderness area runoff to the north-north east. But it makes for an interesting backdrop it shares with a good view of the sandia mountains. I will...

I had informed the lady I was looking for a park that had a gigantic play structure on it for the children to play on. If this is indeed the park that has the gigantic play structure on it for children to play on I do hope that we are more successful in finding...
Read moreBeautiful park. Lots of open space, playground for kids, and lots of trees. There's also a pollinator garden you can stroll through. The bike path on the south side runs from Juan Tabo along the park down to Morris. Walking path surrounds the whole park. Great place to walk your dogs (on leash, of course). Each lap around the park is ~1/2 a mile. You can walk up the hill on the east side of the park and watch the sunset & see the city lights. Also gives a great view of the Sandias from the top of the hill.
If you play Pokémon Go, there's 3 Gyms & 10-12 Pokestops...
