Update: Awful experience!
My last positive review was written 11 months ago and I am changing it because of what happened today.
I ordered a foot, back, and shoulders massage. It started off the same as always. It was a new man but he was doing a great job. All of the sudden, he left and a woman started doing my massage. No communication with me, they just switched. I thought it was odd but tried to flow with it. The woman was putting so much pressure I was squirming. I kept debating whether or not I should say something or just wait for her to move away from that spot. All of the sudden the woman went away and a third person started doing my massage. Now this third person truly did an awful job. It felt like she was just hastily slapping me around. About 2 minutes in her phone rang. I thought ok she forgot to silence it. No. She ANSWERED AND HAD A CONVERSATION all while continuing my "massage"!!!!! I really could not believe it. After she finished she roughly slaps my back around a bit more, I can't even call it a massage at that point and I've been here many times so I know the difference, she says ok you're done and runs away.
So I go to pay still in disbelief. She takes several calls and I have to wait. And then.... and then SHE HAD THE AUDACITY to ask me for a TIP?!?!? Not only that... she charged me the full amount. For a massage that left me LESS relaxed than when I showed up. For a massage that the last 1/3 was anything but a massage. I told her that the tip was zero and this woman, with a straight face, asked me if there was any problem. So I just told her, you switched people three times and YOU had a phone call during my massage. So she offers me a coupon for $10 off my next visit. Seriously? You think after being treated like that I want to give you MORE of my business?
This was horrible service. Horrible treatment. And hugely disappointing. I shouldn't have even agreed to pay the $50. They used to be so good but I absolutely cannot stand by my previous positive review. Perhaps they've gotten so busy that they don't care about quality anymore. Strongly suggest you go somewhere else.

We had scheduled the massage for 4:15 unfortunately we were unable to make it due to being unable to arrange for a babysitter to watch our children in time. Once we arrived I apologized for us being late. Upon arrival we were greeted by a woman that didn't speak English, which is fine but since this was our first time I was wanting to know how everything worked. Shortly after, another women came out to greet us as well. It was very uncomfortable.. She rushed us to pick what we wanted to have done despite it being our first time ( in her defense she didn't know, but still not exceptable) I had made a choice, however I only asked for 30 mins seeing as how my husband and I needed to be back in hour to get our kids. The women then said "wow only 30mins". I had told the women that we had to be back to pick our kids up. I was then cut off while speaking directly to her, as she answered the phone. Instead of putting the customer on hold momentarily, she continued her conversation on the phone and decided we weren't as important. After that I suggested to my husband we leave. I then told the women directly that we would be leaving. It seems she understood. We attempted to leave but the women started asking where we were going.. I explained again that we are leaving. She may have became irritated and aggressively waved us off. The other women that was standing behind us gave a very mean stare.. Had it not been for the customer service they would have had our business.The area inside was kept very nice. Unfortunately, we didn't go through with the massage, so I am unable to comment on the full service. Overall...
Read moreWas introduced to this place about a year ago, I’ve brought dozens of clients and business partners here since. As of recent they appeared to increase price ( less massage time ) and switch up staff and possibly management.
Today, Thursday April 26h I decided to treat my mother and grandmother to a massage, I called in around 11:30 am to schedule a 6:00pm ( because they have gotten bad at walk ins ) we arrived, appeared normal, they were a little scattered but still took each of us to the group massage room, we all laid down, soaked our feet. The massage for my grandmother and myself started, my mother was waiting ( i didn’t notice I had towell they place over my face ). The lady who was massaging me had hands that smelt like feet already and she was massaging my face. I noticed after about 30 minutes my mother was not in the massage chair she left to the car. Now noticing she was gone on top of a horrible massage I was ready to leave. I paid for myself and my grandmother, I left no tip ( usually I tip $10 min and more ) the lady held my credit card, I guess in confusion that she got no tip, I reached for it she pulled it back, called for another lady that worked there and she asked “why no tip” so I began to let them know I’d been over 50 times ( probably an average of 2 times a week ) and have never had such a bad experience. I’m extremely bummed because I thought highly of this place for a while, I guess good things don’t always last.
There’s another location on the east side of San Mateo that I had been going to because they raised pricing, they’re almost as good as this place WAS and still great price and excellent...
