Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I visit Einstein Bros Bagel frequently and also am part of the smear club. The bagels never disappoint and the breakfast and lunch sandwiches are delicious. So why the low score you might wonder. Well here is my story. My brother and sister in law were visiting from out of state. We stopped at this location for breakfast and coffee/tea. Also had to buy a bagel treat for their Yorkie. The man behind the counter seemed annoyed and was VERY rude. Didn't seem to want to assist us. I thought he must be having a bad days but proceed to order. When the next customer came in his demeanor changed and he was extremely nice.. wow was this the same person who took our order??? We sat outside to enjoy our breakfast and of course he didn't put in the order correctly. I had to go back in.The good thing was he was in the backroom and I got assistance from the other employees that were helpful and professional. I won't go back to this location. I posted a couple of days ago about the professional manner in which my concerns were handled. I went this morning to get the corrected menu items and I have to say I don't think I will go back. it seems to me that when a business knows that the customer they are working with has already been unhappy they would at least try to make this time work. Not in this case. I walked in to get bagels replaced because they were not right the first time. I was on my way to work. The guy that was making the food asked to wait while he finished the orders he was working on. I did. then he took another order and another order and another order. I finally got my order .it was correct but I feel like he made me wait to prove a point because I have been there many times and I have never been put to the back of the line so others could get their...

I loooove Einstein bros. I lived off of the everything bagel with cream cheese and a chai latte in college (you definitely need to try it). The food is usually always amazing with no problems. It’s a smooth in and out if you’re on the run but I’m having a hard time with the customer service. I once ordered the ush and my bagel was completely and utterly burnt. I’m not the type of person to complain about stuff like that but it was totally fried. The lady asked if I’d like another one and I said yes. She was very upset about that and was complaining to her coworker right in front of me. I was very appreciative that she took the time to even ask me and make another one but the point still stands that she was very upset.
