I helped the Center of the Universe was absolutely lovely, especially at dusk. I was meandering through duck pond, but it is currently under renovation and found myself upon this structure/sculpture.

It’s definitely a start contrast to the architecture of UNM, however, I believe it was beautiful to see, and as a fan of brutalist art, I enjoyed seeing this here. I can definitely understand the apprehensiveness or lack of uniformity that this structure brings, however, I believe art is meant to start a conversation. It looks like it’s done that.

I recommend going on a weekday 30 minutes before sunset. It was breathtaking as was the...
