The ponds were horribly maintained. It's really gone downhill. The asphalt is missing chunks in it and there was trash (bags, plastic cups / bottles, fishing line, etc) in all the ponds, bird poop along all the walkways, weeds overcrowding some of the plants and walkways, and the water itself stunk.
They have security there to help usher everyone out once it closes, but no maintenance crew to upkeep the place. While walking around the ponds, I found a goose with a fishing line wrapped around its leg. The goose appeared to be in pain and refused to walk on that leg.
The water needs to be filtered, and the trash pulled out of it. Walkways should be pressure washed and weeds pulled. It's hard to enjoy our city when too many people keep destroying it.
I can't say I recommend visiting it unless you're there to help...
