Cheese and Coffee — Restaurant in Albuquerque

(Downtown location) My coworkers wanted to eat here, but we decided to order online pickup because they close at 2pm. We all ordered online with a 2 dollar service fee. I ordered a beef patty melt with caesar salad and an order of fries. My total came to just over 20 dollars after tax, but I was splurging because I can't afford to eat out much. We arrived 5 minutes after the pickup time and had to wait another 10 minutes or so for our food (which they packed up all together). I should have made sure it was all there, but we were hungry and eager to get back to the office. The wrong names were on the boxes we ordered, but after sorting it out, we were missing a 4 dollar order of fries. I called to see if I could come pick them up and said I could come get them or get a credit toward our next visit. I decided to go get the fries. Shortly after the call, they called me back, explaining that both orders of fries were in the same takeout box even though we placed our orders separately online. 8 dollars for a small box of fries is hard to believe. Don't get Caesar dressing... it tastes like fish paste.. overall, the salad was inedible, the patty melt was okay, and the fries portions are extremely small if they were telling us the truth and definitely not worth 8 dollars for two orders. I really wanted to like this place because it was close to work, but I don't recommend spending...

The shoppe on 119 San Pasquale Ave is a wonderful choice for a healthy, hearty and affordable lunch experience. It is , as my colleagues agree, as if your Mom was in the kitchen. The food is just that delicious! It is a home-cooked-meal! The staff is very warm, and professional. The dishes are a beautiful balance and presentation. The senses are overwhelmed once you enter the dining area. The management greets you, and you are treated just like family. I will definitely refer all my friends and colleagues to visit and visit often! I think I found the best place to eat downtown! Oh, and the meals are served hot, and soon! That makes a big difference for us who don't have a lot of time to seek out a place to eat, and be back on time. I am amazed at the grace under pressure demonstrated, and the outright feeling of warmth and welcome you experience once you enter. A smile at every greeting! Every selection is the best! I always love the food here it’s one of my favorite Sandwich places ever! Buuuutttt during the pandemic we have not been able to visit any longer. We finally Decided to order takeout and when we went to pickup we were really disappointed because there was a blonde woman who helped us (not sure if she is the owner) but she was constantly coughing and although she was wearing a masks I did not feel like it was safe to eat the food due to my worry of it being potentially contaminated.. I know this sounds petty but having a newborn at home I could not take any risks.. she sounded very ill and should have stayed home instead of serving people food while sick in the middle of a pandemic.. I look forward to visiting once the pandemic is over but in the meantime...
