Wash Tub Laundromat — Attraction in Albuquerque

I have to change how many stars I give them because they changed the washers and they are always breaking down. Then they just raised the cost on the washers and driers. But the biggest problem is there is NO air conditioner!!!!!!! it is so hot in there that you might as well as wash your clothes outside. You leave from there and you are so hot that you have to throw water on you just to cool off. There use to be small air conditioner with the big one and it would keep the place nice and cool but not anymore. People keep telling them that it is too hot but they don't care. You can't even open the doors to let in air because they will close the door but the customer's are dying from how hot it is on there. They need a better air conditioner and better fans. If you have to go in with towels and wet them just to keep yourself cool, have fans, and whatever else to keep you cool, then they need to do something about it. I even talked to one of the owners family members and that person said they have even told them it is too hot but they would not do anything to help keep it cool. The other problem is that they hide all the baskets but 5. When you have 6 or 10 people that all need a basket, with there only being 5 baskets, others don't have...

I have not needed to go to a laundromat since I moved to ABQ 10 years ago. But when my dryer belt broke I had to find a laundromat close by. This laundromat was very close to where I live and I was very impressed at how large it was and how many machines (washing machines and dryers) on the premises. I didn't use the washing machines because I washed my clothes at home. The dryers are huge and it only took 4 quarters (30 minutes) to dry my clothes. The music was nice. I have went to the Wash Tub for years . Always has been very clean by staff. Recently driers will not function until you add 4 quarters. Unfortunately, after a trip I took my clean belonging to dry to make sure I didn’t take any unwanted insects home. Drier did not let me insert one quarter and burnt 75% of my children’s clothes. Dryers have no sensor on them. Thousands of dollars were burnt and smoke was coming out of the drier when I opened it. I did not take pictures of all the clothes that I threw away.
