The Coliseum seems smaller than I remember even though they've added seating. That being said seeing REO Speedwagon in this venue was great! The band rocked as they always have n the band that played warm up was really excellent. I enjoyed it. I don't understand why the G. M. of the Coliseum doesn't work to get more bands from the Rock & Roll 70's and yes some newer. If they would start working to get bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Jr., Little River Band, Styx, Def Leopard, etc. people my age who will pay a little more would fill the place. These are only bands that came to mind at 12:30am, I'm tired! There are so many great bands that would actually help bring bands to town n make money. Of course the concert should be on Friday or Saturday night so more folks would have the opportunity to attend which is more revenue for the town not just the venue. ZZ Top did well there I heard. I saw lots of big name bands here in the 70s but radio stations helped bring in the talent so why not team up! All in all I think they might need a new GM or Police Jury cause it's a shame to spend so much money remodeling for just Rodeos n Monster trucks. ROCK&ROLL ain't noise...

This is based on an experience in 2013.

Rude staff. Unresponsive management. Will call office was a joke. Forced to wait in hot sun for nearly an hour because they didn't know what they were doing. Took credit card and ID out of sight. Security laughable. Lack of changing tables in men's room. I am

No response from management when multiple attempts were made to contact them through their website and email and phone numbers.

The even was fun and enjoyable, but the facilities poorly managed.

Like I said, it was a while ago, so maybe things have changed, but I will never attend another event...

Really enjoyed watching Peak Fighting Championship with my family Saturday inside the Rapides Parish Coliseum. Bare knuckle boxing, 4 oz Muay Thai and mixed martial arts is amazing to see in person. One of the coolest structural places we've ever been to. The staff that helped us with the cage was nice on the setup. Sadly, we somehow lost a helper from Friday to Saturday that we were supposed to have helping us with the teardown. Luckily for us, our monster of a son came and helped us out with the cage after helping his team win the Bi-District championship in 5A D2 Texas High School football the...

The “new” Coliseum is very nice and clean. We were in Suite E and seated out in front of suite E. The suite was very nice with Tv’s connected to cameras for closer floor viewing. Overall this place looks and feels a million times better than it did in the past. The food is over priced but its like that at every arena or coliseum you go to. I took pictures from Suite E as reference for anyone interested in what their seat view would be. The coliseum is small so unless you are front and center it wont make a difference. All of the seats have a good view.

My sister and I went to the Three Dog Night concert and had an absolutely wonderful time. We were on floor level, I think 4 or 5 rows back from the stage. We could see and hear really well. The venue was not full and we liked that fact, considering Covid. I went to the restroom and it was exceptionally clean and smelled sanitized. I also went to the concession and got daiquiris which were delicious, although pricey. It was a wonderful time shared with my baby sister. I hope to go back for more concerts soon and often.

Love the newly renovated interior and lights. The sound is much improved now since there are new acoustic panels. New seats are much more comfortable than the old ones. Parking is still a mess as there is only one traffic light that services this vast lot.
