US District Court — Attraction in Alexandria

Cases move fast in the Rocket Docket. Judges run a very efficient operation and the local rules help avoid unnecessary delays. The judges I dealt with were objective and fair and restored my faith in the system. As for the clerk’s office, my paper work got lost twice. A couple of my motions also took long to upload into the PACER system, even beyond the 48 hour deadline. However, I rated the court house 5 stars because every time I had issues with my filings, I had a case manager available to speak to. My case manager typically resolved the issues I had concerns with quickly. More importantly, I felt that many of the staff were empathetic. You don’t have to take sides to be empathetic. Empathy can make such a difference, particularly when the matters that often bring us into a court house are not of a pleasant kind. Truly impressed with this court house that deserves its reputation for being one of the best in our nation. Keep up the great work and continue to uphold Justice.
