The stay at this resort highlighted the worst, most chaotic Christmas ever.
My family and I are timeshare holders at this resort and originally we planned to book a hotel trip from Christmas Eve until the 28th. Upon booking we were told that the hotel was at 100% and we had to book TWO different reservations that were never actually booked.
Once we got to the hotel, we had this rinky dink hotel room with one bedroom although we had three people staying. We tried to make the best of our stay even though they couldn’t move us due to them booking to full capacity (which I feel like should never be done just in case of emergency) which we did in fact experience.
Upon coming back from our Christmas Day brunch, in the parking garage we heard alarms blaring and my window was open as well as multiple other cars. We get into the hotel to ask for footage and everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off and no one knew what was going on. We headed up to our room on the 5th floor and our room was FLOODED. Pipes bursted and flooded the floor entire front of our room. We had most of the staff who arrived in pajama and multiple fire fighters in and out of our room before we were even spoken to about solutions. They moved us to a way better “model suite” which is the same suite we asked for upon booking. After we were moved, there was little to no communication or follow up from staff or managers about the rest of our stay so we assumed we would be in this room for the rest of our stay.
That was not the case, at 8am we received banging on our hotel room basically telling us get out because another family had booked the room and we had to leave. They moved us to a smelling tiny hotel room and told us that we had to call a number that was clearly closed because of Christmas. Tomo? The manager for the day basically told us to figure it out and that we had to call the national harbor location instead of THE MANAGEMENT TEAM FINDING A SOLUTION. Luckily the harbor staff is amazing and Jason was an Angel in this situation but it still has not been resolved.
The unprofessionalism and lack of...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at a property that left much to be desired. I feel compelled to share my thoughts in this review, as I believe potential guests should be aware of the issues before making a decision.
Firstly, the cabinet in the bathroom was a major letdown. It was old and peeling, which not only made it look unattractive but also raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. It's hard to feel at home in a space with such visible signs of neglect.
The dining chairs were another disappointment; they were scratched up and worn and had busted seats, making it uncomfortable to sit down for a meal. This lack of attention to detail really detracted from the overall experience, as dining should be a pleasant activity.
To add to the discomfort, the sofa was far from inviting. It was not comfortable at all, making it difficult to relax after a long day. A cozy seating area is essential for any guest, and this one simply did not deliver.
Lastly, the stucco walls and ceilings added to the dated feel of the place. Instead of a modern and inviting ambiance, it felt more like a relic from the past, which was not what I was hoping for.
There was a very nice balcony with nice furniture. Although the weather was beautiful during our stay, the patio was filthy from bird poop.
The location is wonderful. The staff was amazing. The Metro is one block away. There is a free shuttle which is very nice. My disappointment was the room. For the price, there are probably nicer rooms in the area.
Overall, my experience was quite disappointing due to the outdated and poorly maintained furnishings. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future guests. I cannot recommend this property...
Read moreOkay now I understand why the such low star rating. I won't go back. The rooms are okay, but outdated and not very suite we stayed in had inoperable outlets, outdated furniture that should've been thrown out a long time ago. They constantly contact you about sales offers to purchase more time and yet if you as I for simple things like creamer for your coffee or a later checkout time, we were either lied to and told it would be done or not at all. I accidentally overslept and awoke at 10 am which is the checkout time. I was stressed due to being notified just 10 hours later arlier that one of my relatives who had just been hospitalized a few days ago and another relative I had come to visit only had days to live. I immediately called the front desk to ask for an hour and was old no. They then called the room 3 times and my cell phone once while I was trying to get dressed tears flowing down my face. Then 2 female managers (one professionally dressed and the other dressed as if she was there to get physical with a scowl” came knocking at the door to verbally berate me & tell me I had 30 minutes to get out. Considering all of this occurred within a time span of one hour and 45 minutes, I could have gotten dressed a lot faster and departed much sooner had they not called four (4) times and confronted me in the doorway of my room. Some other members of the staff were much more cordial, polite, professional and understanding. I Can occasionally overlook aesthetics And the occasionally in operable outlet, light, appliance and or old uncomfortable furniture, but not bad service. I much rather prefer the location at National Harbor or sell the Timeshare and buy a home there because it...
