original message: I strongly urge consumers to stay away from Crate and Barrel outlet stores. I spent over $2k on one couch which seemed to be in perfect condition and was a great deal compared to what it would have cost if I had purchased it in store (based on full description provided by store employees on model and fabric). Worst experience as the upgraded, stain resistant fabric along with the stain removing directions provided by the company on this model were so wrong and within a couple months I have nothing but water stains all over my whitish sofa. I followed everything exactly. The company takes no responsibility for selling me a $2K couch that, although came from an outlet with as is, was still $2K based on these features. I wouldn't pay $2K if it didn't have these features which were part of the sell to me. What a waste. The couch is not worth $5 at this point. Save yourself time and headache and know that just because it seems like a good deal and that you can inspect it all you want and do all the research , it means absolutely nothing. Will never shop with C&B - outlet or not - ever again. They owe me at least a professional cleaning but choose to simply say that I signed a waiver for the outlet so who cares if we sold...

Lots of great deals to be had at this place! Customer service is also top-notch. You advice you are responsible for your own delivery, or you can use some of their sponsor of independent contractors who are also fabulous, I use Mr. Foster. He’s the best! The selection is ever-changing, and of course inventory is limited but the deals you find actually worth the hunt! Don’t be afraid to call and ask the store if specific pieces have arrived, just make sure you’re in a position to jump on them if the answer is yes! Lastly, one thing that you’ll appreciate about the items is that unlike other outlet stores, which have a tendency to mass produce items specifically for their discounted final destinations, you’ll notice that every single piece in the store is a piece that was or currently still is featured on the full priced website itself! Again this is a great place to visit if you’re looking for C&B at a discounted price… Or if you’re looking to be introduced to the brand and don’t want to spend a fortune. The majority of pieces here are Custom made and return items that are in fantastic condition. Every now and then you find a piece that needs a little TLC, but the price is reflective and with a little elbow grease you can...

I placed an order over the phone for in-store pickup. I received an email confirmation for shipping of the product with an unrecognizable name and address, which I did not provide. Then I received a cancellation email. I called the store to inquire about the strange name, address and why my order was cancelled when a hostile associate incorrectly claimed I gave her all of that information - for an in store pickup. I asked to speak with the manager expecting an apology for the hostile associate and a helpful solution and received neither. Instead he told me the other customer knew of my email and last 4 of my credit card, which he then denied saying. I eventually got the product in store and asked about my data being shared to the manager and he blamed “the cloud”. They clearly made a mistake and labeled my order under another customer. Instead of admitting their fault and working with me to fix the issue, they made the process incredibly difficult and time consuming.
