I ordered through the app, for a delivery to be made to my hotel the morning of my wedding for bridesmaids, hair and make up vendors, and my mom. I was surprised to not have been sent an order number but that the pending transaction was charged. I called about an hour before it was supposed to be delivered to ensure things were in order.
They were not. It took forever to get someone on the phone, spoke to 4 different employees over 5 different phone calls, consuming over an hour of phone time with no resolution. Got told to go through the app again, and pay again.
Eventually had to pass it off to my sister, who eventually got in touch with the manager of the store. They charged us again for the order we replaced on the phone (after significant discussion).
Food was delivered more than 3 hours past the original desired delivery time. Manager delivered it himself with extra baked goods which was great, and assured us it would be comped.
Only to find out we were charged TWICE for the original order. Once on my card, once on my sisters. Made for a pretty terrible morning before what gladly became an amazing wedding day - but no help from this store. No way of reaching the GM easily, cant email the store directly. Just sent an email to the corporate website for assistance on the refund.
Just really didnt appreciate the lack of consideration for customer time, or how inconvenient it was to be just be told, well do it again - after making it very clear they charged my card already with NO...
Read moreDo not order from this location. This is not a review of Panera as a whole, but this location is the absolute WORST. I work around here, so I used to order from this location probably 1-2 times a week. Generally, about 1/3 of the time, something is wrong with my order - they put onions in something that I specifically tell them not to, they forget part of my order, they forget the extra dressing, and for the most part, I'm cool with it. I call, tell them something is wrong, and expect that they will fix it. Yesterday, I ordered what I typically order (mac and cheese and a Greek salad, no onions). The salad I received was most definitely not mine - there were onions in it, the dressing was wrong and it just didn't have the elements of a Greek salad (feta, olives, yadda yadda) AND they forgot my croissant. I called and the manager saw fit to tell me "I get a lot of calls from you about your order being messed up" -- well...yes, you do? Why should I sit down and eat something that I specifically did not order? The manager, Ahmed, was quite rude, but sent another salad - when I opened the bag, to my horror and surprise, it was filled with chicken - I have never once ordered a salad with chicken in it because I'm vegetarian. Read moreWe like to order ahead and pick up so we can skip the line. Panera food always tastes great and offers a fast healthy option for fast food. Unfortunately on all but one order (of almost 10 over last few months) there has been either a wrong item or missing item all together. Not that a chocolate chip cookie is of any significance in the grand scheme of life, bit sometimes when it's been a long miserable day it's what can deliver a cheap, simple, and mending calm to help shake off the days woes. (I know, first world problems). Unfortunately time and time again this location has lacked the simple quality control to ensure the right items and the right amount of items were in our togo order. And when i get home and all I can think of is that delicious chocolate chip cookie, its a morale destroyer to discover its missing in the bag. When I call to complain, and the lackluster apology comes in with an offer to come pick it up, and that my presence in the store with payment card in hand if I want a refund for the item I paid for but was not give , I start to wonder if there is a complete lack of care, or worse lack of integrity, or maybe both. We will no longer go to this location, and if we experience the same lackluster customer service and incomplete order delivery at others, we will part ways with this chain. Shame on...
